Reportedly, the aggregate open interest for the BTC options is $10b. It doesn't mean that $10b options positions will be liquidated on Dec. 29. Some of them will be settled.
The odds of approvals for spot BTC ETF(Exchange-Traded Fund)s applications is higher than last few years. Furthermore, making decisions for them is scheduled within Jan. 10.
So, I think the BTC price won't be much moved. Of course, the volatility of the BTC price will be high. However, since the deadlines for them is coming, the BTC price wouldn't go lower.
Today, the 🇺🇲 S&P 500 index was about to break the former ATH(All Time High) of Jan. 2020. The Dow Jones index already broke the previous ATH.
