DeFi is leader?

According to Chainanalysis, Uniswap (DeFi) headed the TOP-25 cryptocurrency services by transaction volume.
Believe it or not, but my personal experience with Uniswap has remained very negative. I use MetaMask and every transaction, even for small amounts, is very expensive! At least $ 20!
Do you use DeFi or do you prefer cryptocurrency exchanges to buy and sell cryptocurrencies?
