Good day friends and welcome to my blog. The steemit team in her wisdom has dimmed its fit to come up with season two of the steemit engagement challenge. I am so happy to be in attendance this season. Today I will be writing on the contest Why and how Steemit social media is different and better than other social media.

Different persons have different views when it comes to which social media is the best or better for them or but in my case, I go with the motion that the steemit platform is the best social media platform ever and in this blog, I am going to explain with my reasons why I said so.

There are lots of social media platforms in the world today. It has become part of human life because we use it for communication, advertisement, trading etc. In my case, the social media I use on daily basis is the steemit social media platform. Steemit is a social media platform that content creators use and earn money for their valuable content created.

Steemit is the first social media platform that pays for content creators. Before this time, people write and share their knowledge without getting anything in return but steemit helps to reward them for publishing this article on their platform. The way steemit work is that it uses the POB format I.e it works in such a way that you are not expected to post content copied from another source by referencing the source.

When content creators write articles, the article last for seven days before the reward will get to them. The reward that is shared in the steemit platform includes steem I.e its native token, SP, SBD and TRX token.

The benefit of this platform can never be overemphasised. The truth is that steemit teaches us a whole lot of things for free. Take for instance the steemit crypto academy program. Before this time, I had about crypto trading and I met a friend who claims to be an expert in the trading to teach me but he charged me about #100000 and after enrolling in the class I ended up learning just a few basic which if I had sat down and watch few youtube videos I could have learned.

Apart from learning and gaining knowledge, I also made a lot of money from the platform, this money has helped me to settle a lot of family issues and my problems as well. I have also learned how to write properly with the help of this very platform.

It is normal that the more dedicated you are to a particular thing the more you know the thing better. It is on this note that I believe that the more time I spend on steemit than on any other social media the more I understand the platform and the more money I will make.

I have resolved to spend more time on the steemit social media platform because as you can see the platform does not only equip me with knowledge but I see it as a place where I too can share my little knowledge and then get critics and encouragement from people as well. Aside from that any article I publish I earn from such an article. This is not the same on other social media platforms and for that reason, you have seen the reason why I spend more time on steemit.

My benefit from the steemit platform is numerous. From my very first post till this moment I have been earning and learning. You will agree with me that the lectures delivered in SCA can go for as far as about $2000 in just a month, but we are privileged to receive all these lessons for free and even get a very good reward for performing the assignment task.

There are lots of differences we can see between steemit and other social media platforms. A few of these differences can be seen below.

Steemit platform is a platform in which users who have their keys control their accounts. This is not the same when it comes to other social media platforms like Facebook or Twitter. Here in this other social media, you have a password but your account can still be banned.

Another thing about the steemit platform is that it gives rewards to its content creators. This is not so in the case of other social media platforms like Facebook or Twitter. You can not monetize your content on this other social media but you can only do that on steemit as a social media platform.

Investment and the gain of global knowledge is another unique difference between steemit and other social media platforms. The steemit platform can be used to invest and also acquire knowledge just like the program of the SCA, there are no such programs on any other social media platform.

Building a life-lasting relationship. Steemit helps a lot of people to be connected worldwide. In my case, I was able to meet a friend from Pakistan with who to this moment we still communicate. This is not the same on Facebook because a lot of people just fake their lives and identity, but with the help of the achievement 1 task, you get to know who exactly the person is.

The steemit platform is no doubt the best social media platform for me. I guess no steemians will have another platform as his or her neat aside from the steemit platform. Once you are introduced to this platform and you are dedicated to it, you will always want to learn more about it. There are thousands of things to explore on the platform and sincerely it is not easy at all. Finally, I want to appreciate the community for such a wonderful contest.
