INTRODUCTION

Hello honourable members of the urdu community. warmth greetings to you all. Here we all on season 2 week 4 of steemit engagement challenge in this community, it's been a great journey so far but we all made it this far. without retards , i will go straight to the theme of this contest; How weather effect our life and play important role ? which of weather do you like and why you like it. Let's get a brief intel of what weather is all about

An Overview of Weather

Our mother planet, planet earth has be faced with numerous seasons which are all enclosed activities of the planet's revolution, and each season recorded by counting 365 days in a year( 365¼ for leap year). We can not talk about weather without first mentioning the season because it the season that determine that climate and weather at any given point in time of the year. There are four seasons of the year which are: summer, spring, fall(autumn) and winter. Each of this season is characterized by a particular weather condition and it varies on different locations and places around the globe.

in africa the climate condition varies in two season: summer and winter. The wet weather often refer simply as the Rainy season occur "in summer" while the sunny weather refer at times as "the Dry season" occur in "winter".
In Cameroon the rainy season(wet season) start's from approx 15th of march each year and ends in late october or early November. while the sunny weather( dry season) starts from november and end in mid march. Each season is entitled to numerous weather conditions like: Fog, Winds and storms

This contest requires us to talk on how weather affect our lives and the important role it plays as well as specifying which is your prefer weather and citing your reasons for picking your choice. Our contest is guided by a series of question which are as follows.

How weather effect our life and play important role ?

weather represents the atmospheric condition of a place in particular time. Weather being a broad topic to discuss mean we are going to cite the most relevant material to talk about. weather affect us in may ways in our lives and on daily basis. Some of these effects are important to us whereas others are not. For instance, it's a rainy day and i had to go to school the morning, i ll be affected directly and indirectly by a number of factors:

• i will need a pullover to keep myself warm
• i will be stepping out with an umbrella,
• i ll be faced with jumping standing water on the road or faced with floods and also
• boarding a taxi will be most costly as just few cars are plying the road.

So we see that weather can affect us in many ways both positive and negative and directly and indirectly
another case will be for instance it's a sunny day, road are dry, everyone will be entitled to go about their daily activities normal, because the weather favours our daily activities. finally if the weather becomes windy stormy or cloudy, it become a serious issue for instance some one might got stroked by lighting on stormy day. landslide or earthquake may occur on windy days due to tidal current and poor visibility might lead to road accident on a cloudy day.

Nevertheless weather still play an important role in our lives which i will be highlighting some here.

• sunny weather favours economic activities, favours plant growth and keep us warm.
• Rainy days help plan growth as it water our farms and keeps our surrounding evergreen
• windy weather will provide us with cold fresh breeze keeping . fresh on these days. a better experience can be felt at the beach

what kind of weather do you like and why you like it

Every weather is unique in it own way but i prefer the wet, cold breezy weather for numerous reasons.

• i develop frontal headache most on daily basis when in sunny so to remedy the situation i go out with caps on and sunglasses but. i don't go through this on a breezy or rainy days.
• rainy season advantageous as it's a cultivating season and there is plenty of food available.

What region do you live in? And what are the seasons in your region?

i live in the littoral region of cameroon and right now we are in the rainy season(summer). and climate here is characterized with severe rainy fall. the weather is quite humid and with cloudy fog. and also ground is really with standing waters.

What is your favorite season And why do you like it?

my favourite season is the rainy season. i love the rainy season because it safe for my health and keeps me fresh. unlike the dry season the weather is harsh, excessive heat, skin burn and numerous skin diseases. and more to this i'm a lover of fruits and there is plenty of fruits in the rainy season.

What clothes and food do you like depending on the season(cultural reflection)?

During the rainy season i prefer putting on cotton pullover before outing water resistant shoes to keep my feets dry. for the food
i love eating irish potatoes, roasted corn and mangoes.
in the dry season i prefer cloth of nylon made, sunglasses and cap to prevent the sun rays. while for the food prefer eating
fruits like watermelon, cucumber pineapple to keep me hydrated and also including some cookies and ice cream.

Apart from you, which season do the people of your area prefer?

After inquiring a lot from people out there, i can conclude that people in the litoral prefer the rainy season, though a few cases were against due to one reason or the other(floods). majority reason what that ; Douala is quite humid and warm due to overpopulation, the weather is extremely hash during the dry season. but the condition is moderate during the rainy season. plus the rains here are not cold like other region of the country.

In which season does your area face more difficulties and what are those difficulties?

people in my area faces difficulties during the rainy season especially school skids as the is might come across run offs and
and many houses in the swampy areas also face situation of floods. on like last time, it rained a whole day and the after effect were catastrophic.

What is the special ritual associated with a particular season that people in your area have been waiting for all year?

Actually my clan doesn't celebrate or perform any rituals in a season but what we do rather is to carry out activities like clearing farmland when dry season is approaching and also start working and planting when the rains are arriving. plus we all celebrate christmas and new year at the end and beginning of each year

Conclusion

weather is actually a very broad aspect of our day to day life. we can't highlight all the various way in which it affect us but we just need to figure a way to deal with whatever whether at any moment in time.
