Spider-Man, at the beginning of the first episode, was still an ordinary person. At that time, he was the object of ridicule.

By the third episode, he was already a great hero and became more and more arrogant. Began to meddle, because the greater the ability, so the more meddling? This is really similar to America.

At the beginning, the United States fought against its British masters for its own independence. Later, during World War I and World War II, America became rich. Other countries have suffered a major blow, but the United States is safe and sound. Now I have become a superpower, so I can teach Afghanistan lessons today and fight Iraq tomorrow.

Why can we decide the life and death of others? Even if the other person is a man who deserves it. If everyone becomes a punisher, what should the law do? Spider-Man is so much like America. You can fight whoever you want. Because I am strong enough. If you are weak, you can't beat anyone. Only get beat up.

Spider-Man defeated many people who were against him by virtue of his super power. Including his friend's father! I believe Spider-Man can continue to harm the world because it is above the law. It can ignore all laws! Police enforcement is authorized by law. So is Spider-Man authorized to enforce the law? The United States easily overthrew other governments, and whose authorization did it get?

The theme of SPIDERMANIII is all about the word "revenge". It can be simplified to one sentence by Peter's grandma -- Words like revenge changes our heart, and things like that, whatever. The whole movie can be regarded as a series of short taking-one's-revenge stories, and they are much alike. Harry's revenge over Peter, Peter's revenge over Harry, Sandman, Eddie and MJ, Eddie's revenge over Peter, and so on. Of course the black suit stands for the dark power of revenge.

One thing I wanna say about revenge is that, yeah, it's kinda cool when your heart is filled with hate and bitterness while taking your revenge, just like Peter's really sexy moves, but you've got to pay the price of losing the innocence, puerility and simplicity of your life forever unless you forget about all the things like Harry did. I figured that out from my own life.

After all, it is still a TERRIBLE movie I have to say -- Just as TERRIBLE as SPIDERMANI and SPIDERMANII were.
