My technological ally (Infinix smart 8)

INTRODUCTION

Good evening from me @destinedhanik from Nigeria to all members of shine with Steem, I feel good being amongst you. I am contesting in this topic "my technological ally" and I hope you will learn few things from me. As we all know, technology has come to stay and without it, her lives would be slow and boring, so I will be talking about my phone and the different things I use it for.

MY CURRENT CELLPHONE

y current cellphone is Infinix smart 8. I got it earlier this year, precisely June. It was a birthday present from myself to me. I decided to buy it because I had used my former phone, Infinix note 8 for years and it had gone through wears and tears. It had started disappointing me and I was afraid one day, it will fail me totally and I'll lose everything. I had saved money through steemit and I had powered down just to get a new phone. I got my current phone at the price of 107,000 naira, that is equivalent to 392 Steem.

What phone carrier do you use? How much do you pay for rental and what does that plan offer you?

I use 2 phone carriers, mobile telephone network (mtn) and global communication network (glo). I spend at least a thousand naira each for airtime and data every month and that makes it at least 8 thousand naira monthly for the two lines for rental and that is equivalent to the price of 29 steems. The plan offers me enough airtime for calls and enough data. The reason why it is that high is because the data doesn't last and I always have to load data to work online or check information.

What are the apps you use the most on your phone and why?

I have 84 apps on my phone but I use some more than the others. The apps I use most are
Chrome:Chrome app is what I use in browsing and saving. I'm a teacher by profession so I study a lot, I write note of lessons and I also do research. Chrome is my best friend in all these. It gives me different information, it helps me save and then I can also go back to what I saved. It also helps me check corrections.

MX player: MX player is what I use in watching movies. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. Just as I study, I also relax with movies. I have as much as 40 movies on my phone and I love using MX players because there is a place for subtitle where other languages like Korean language is interpreted.

WhatsApp: My WhatsApp app is used for messaging and calls. I love this app because it does a lot but consumes less data. I can call someone for more than 60 minutes with very little data, I can also do video calls seeing the person's face. I also learn a lot via this app because I belong to so many groups that helps me learn about my subject matter. Messages get delivered quickly and pictures can be sent with a little data. I also use this app to apply for jobs.

Facebook: My phone wouldn't be complete without the Facebook app. Facebook is used for socialization, I use Facebook app everyday. I have met a lot of people on Facebook and made friends from some,I have also had opportunities I wouldn't have had of it wasn't for Facebook. I also read a lot of stories via Facebook and learn from them. So these are the apps I use most.

MY PHONE WALLPAPER

I use my face as my phone wallpaper. It shows how much I love myself and love seeing my face on my phone especially when the picture is fine. Not all pictures come out fine when snapped, so because this one came out very fine, I have been using it as my wall pater for months. I choosed it because it was fine. I always use different pix of mine for wallpaper.

Do you think you could go a whole day without using your cell phone? Why?

Yes, I can go a whole day without using my phone, but my mind would always go to my phone. Also, being without my phone would mean I would achieve a lot in terms of doing something around the house, but it also means that I might lose out on some important information and even opportunities. Also,my eyes would rest from looking at the phone screen and I would spend that time achieving other things.

CONCLUSION

I treasure my phone so much because it has helped me in so many things. One needs to have a good phone in this age of technology so as not to be left behind. Also, having phone is relevant, having good apps and knowing how to use them is also very important. Thank you.

Imagina tener acceso hasta al entretenimiento con es app para ver peliculas. De verdad los telefonos son una herramienta muy util que nos sirve hasta para trabajar. Espero que puedas seguir sacandole el jugo a tu telefono.
