Greetings dear friends,
Best wishes and congratulations to all my friends. By God's grace, I pray everyone is well. Today, I am here to participate in Engagement Challenge SLC S21W1/Discovering and Talent in Children, organized by @anailuj1992, mam. Thanks, @anailuj1992, for choosing a great topic. Here, we can build positive and meaningful relationships with children.
🏄🏼♂️🏄🏼♂️Introduction🏄🏼♂️🏄🏼♂️
I am a kindergarten school teacher. I believe it is important not to look for children's skills but to discover their latent talents. Children love imitation. Children's interests lead to their abilities. Children should be encouraged to seek knowledge even if they are not skilled in the things that attract children. This way a good relationship will develop between adults and children.
Today I will explore children's inventions and talents with my younger son Abrar Yasir. My son is 5 years old. He is very intelligent. I've always urged him to try new things. I will complete the mentioned activities of engagement with some activities that my son likes.
What techniques and strategies did you use to strengthen self-esteem and overcome stage fright in children? |
---|
I have always encouraged my children to strengthen self-esteem and overcome stage fright in children. I make an effort to create a nurturing atmosphere for my kids' development. I encourage my children in activities like sports, arts, creative hobbies, etc. so that they can explore their talents. I never put pressure on my children. They succeed when they try. I avoid pressuring children to improve. which promotes children's exploration and enjoyment.
When children don't like doing something, befriend them and try to find out why they don't like it. Recognize children when they work hard or make progress, even if the results aren't perfect. To encourage. My son has not started going to school yet. But I encourage him to learn through playing. I taught my son to draw the flag of our country Bangladesh. Today he can draw the flag without my help. I am sharing with you the video I recorded while drawing the flag.
How did the child feel during the activity? Was he/she comfortable participating? |
---|
Yes, my son was comfortable during the activity. My son is very young, he readily agreed to participate in this activity with me when I invited him. He loves educational activities and enjoys the moment with joy. I added to these activities her favorite activities that she does regularly with ease. So she enjoyed these activities very happily. I always encourage my son to seek new knowledge which will make his future days easier.
My son made a robot with his play blocks. With the blocks, he builds various types of tanks, robots, houses, etc. I always support his activities. If you praise him, he is more enthusiastic about his activities.
Did you manage to overcome stage fright or, on the contrary, were you very nervous? |
---|
I was encouraging him to overcome stage fright. I was a little nervous about how much I was able to encourage him to overcome stage fright. I encouraged my son to recite a poem. When my son was reciting poetry I sat beside him and encouraged him. I recognized my son for his hard work and practice. I think my son did well. I recorded a video during the poetry recitation. You're the one I told.
Don't hesitate to share the highlights and funniest moments you experienced while doing the activity. |

Children love to play with balloons. Today I brought home some balloons for my son. After inflating the balloon, my son was having fun drawing an emoji on the balloon with a marker and holding it in front of his face. My son was making emoji faces and we were laughing at his expressions. It was a lot of fun for us.
Here in the picture I took my son was saying I am very strong. I have a lot of strength in my hands so my hands are swollen like balloons💪💪. Spending time with youngsters is incredibly beautiful.
I've finished my work for the day. I enjoyed some wonderful moments with my son by participating in this amazing contest. Hope you enjoy reading my activities.
