My child was right by my side when making the recipe and sometimes came and checked if the sweetness was fine with the food. Right now I can't give any picture of him because when I post about any recipe or BetterLife post then my two sons don't want to do any photoshoots so I can't give much time because they like to take more pictures.
The recipe I made here is basically a dessert item. This dessert item is called coconut barfi.
Every engineer to make this coconut barfi and I'll show the pictures as needed here.
All I need is-
Coconuts | 2 |
---|---|
Sugar | 1 and¼ Cup |
Milk | ½ cup |
Raisins and nuts | usual |
Ghee | ½ cup |
Step 1
First I break the coconuts and take out this water, then put the coconuts in a coconut husk and take out the coconut shells. In this case, the coconuts should be battered very finely.
Step 2
The thing I have to do in this step is usually we can blended anything but here the coconuts cannot be blended with water so I have taken coconuts should be beaten very finely.
Step 3
Now I'll put the pan in a gas stove and give it ghee first I won't give the whole ghee together, ghee here in three steps to four steps and mix.
Step 4
When the ghee is hot I will go well with the refined coconut batter and stir it well and mix the ghee well and fry it in a little ghee.Fry as if to have a coconut and ghee flavor.
At this stage I'll add sugar and keep stirring until the sugar is completely melted. Then I'll give it thick milk. And ghee again.
Step 5
Now at this stage I have to stir constantly or it can stick to the bottom of the pan and right now I'll give a little ghee again and keep stirring.
I'll brush a little ghee on a big plate.
When I see an oil coming out of that coconut mixture, I'll mix it well with a little ghee.
When I see this mixture of coconut getting a little harder I'll take the pan off the gas stove and pour the mixture into the brushed bowl/plate and spread it well through the oven to the whole plate.
When it's a little cold, I'll cut it with a knife.
Then raisins, almond raisins because I didn't add nuts to it when I cooked it.
That's exactly how one of my dessert items today is coconut barfi that's delicious to eat.
At the end of the activity, tell us if the child loved the recipe or if it wasn't quite their favorite. Ask them what part of the process they asked the most and what their favorite moment was while cooking with you. |

My son loved the recipe at the end of the recipe-making action. I enjoyed this coconut barfi best to eat to when he came to check its sweetness while I was cooking. It wasn't to his liking when this barfi got a little hard after I cooked it.
It was quite a pleasure to cook because I don't make this dessert without the occasion but today there were coconuts in the house.I made it but the hardest thing was to shake it constantly. That's because the hand hurt from constantly moving. If I stop stirring for a minute, the white color of this coconut will turn brown. That's because it will stick to the bottom of the pan under the fan, then it will burn completely.
But one thing that worked was that my son helped me shoot photos while I was cutting the barfies with a knife and serving the nuts
Feel free to tell us about the best moments you had while making this dish. |

The best moment I had when making this dish was my son tasted it which he found quite delicious to eat. That's because he never eats coconuts and he won't eat any pita pies he makes with coconut. It's the flavor of it when I was cooking or she liked it pretty much and got busy running into the kitchen and eating. And finally he ate this coconut barfi with great pleasure which seemed to me to be quite the best moment.
Don't forget to include some photos to capture that special memories of you and the child, and indicate the child's age. |

I couldn't take photos of my child while capturing my special memories while making the recipe. So I included my own photos here.
Also my son is 13 + so he wasn't interested in photo shoots.
..The friend users I would like to invite to this contest, they are @sahidfarabee ,@shryti16 and @rashidaakter.
Thank you all on my behalf
Best Regards
