SLC S23W1/ Body Expression and Facial Expressions

I got a new team of players today who were very excited when I called them out for a charades play, it ended with an appreciation as they left their cartoons to join me, the clue to the answer of this game lies in your ability to predict with certainty what moves this children are making in respect to the behaviour of animals and man's emotions.

HOW TO PLAY

It was a bit complicated drafting this out, but a sparing thought came in which I had to adopt. Before telling you how to play, this game is divided into two segments, the first segment is where we have plate of animals numbered and as there is a tendency to pick a number that has a null❌ and it turns to be another person turn to play leaving you without a point. You can either start with any segment (the animal behaviour or human emotion segments)

Here is how to play, first display the segment to be used, I will be using the animal segment for the description

  • A player picks open a card from the board and when he opens

  • He goes exactly to his picked number and tore it open

  • He will find an animal name, he is to make a mimery description of the animal behaviours to be sure he knows the animal well

  • The spectators will guess the animal he will describe, the one that guesses it right will win a balloon or anything.

FEELING IN THE COURSE OF GAME PLAY

It was fun, I made a full description of how this game is going to be played to the children then I watched them play and got involved when it was time for emotions, other children who were behind the scene laughed so loud with the way the children acted, the animals description was so fun as well as the emotions display, it got the child's attention so much.

Which mime was the easiest for the child to imitate and which was the most difficult?

The emotions display was easier and the animal behavioural description without a sound was hard with reasons, looking at the child description by making a horn in his head with his fingers, it was very hard for the spectators to guess the animals, because there are many animal with horn, if you watch the child's with red video again you will see when he made a gigantic animal walk to also see that the animal style of movement and many guess where made till someone got it right as a COW.

Another case repeated itself when the other child with blue tried to chew a leave, to describe the animal, it was hard as we have many herbivorous animal, but his chew was a side chew and a child was very sensitive to mention a goat, I feel the guess hit the probability guess mark.
