Make a freehand map of your country (It can be on paper, a computer or on your cell phone, the only condition is that it must not be traced. That is to say: The map does not have to be perfect) |
---|
To start the Free hand drawing of my Country's Map, I first placed my drawing materials which is a plain white sheet and a sharped pencil.
Within the freehand map you made, locate where the capital of your country is and where the state/department/province where you live is. |
---|
From the Map I drew, you can see that the Capital of my Country is at the center and it's located at the North Central part of my Country Nigeria.
Currently, I'm doing my 1year Compulsory National Youth Service Corps in Akwaibom State so that is the place I'm staying currently. It is located at the down part of the Map in the Southern region of the Map.
Locate within the map you made, some states/departments/provinces that you know by heart (Only the ones you know/remember at that moment, do not fool yourself by cheating) |
---|
From the Map, I located 10 States I know by Heart. The States includes Anambra, Enugu, Ebonyi, Imo, Abia, Akwaibom, Nassarawa, Lagos, Ondo and Delta State.
Mention 3 places that you still don't know in your country and that you would love to visit and why. |
---|

- Cross Rivers State
This State has aesthetic setting and has so many places for sightseeing, I would love to visit the Popular Obudu Cattle ranch in this state. I would also love to visit in the period they're celebrating the popular Calabar festival to witness the beauty of Culture.
