Every child is unique and special

Greetings my wonderful family of steem🤝... yeah it's been a while now...I will like us to be looking at the uniqueness of every child...I will start with the definition of unique. According to the English dictionary, unique means Being the only one of its kind, unequaled, unparalleled, or unmatched...I will Also add mine as the state of being the only one with the same perfection in our way...most times, parents compare their two-child, neighbors children, or friends children. even identical twins are two different uniquenesses with different fingerprints... although some inherited materials are common among siblings, two persons aren't the same. know that each child has their perfection which no one has.

Not every child must be very sound academically, some children can do best in artworks, music, fashion world or beauty world... not everyone is born to be a doctor, nurse, Accountant, etc.
Most parents keep compelling their children to do what they can't, not because the child is dumb, but it's not their Lane...we all know that all flowers are beautiful, yet they are not all same. parents often show disappointment when their child doesn't meet their expectations, when they respond in such a way, the usual outcome is a discouraged and frustrated child who may then respond in many ways including anxiety, low self-esteem, lack of self-confidence, or oppositional defiant behavior.
Parental encouragement and support foster the natural resilience found in children as well as self-acceptance. this helps both child and parents through the tough moments that enable them to better celebrate all positives...

Here are few recommendations on how parents can continue to get to know their children and celebrate their uniqueness by providing the necessary encouragement they need to soar
1: Discover: observe what your child is perfect in, know the things they derive inner joy in doing, look for changes in them and experience your child by interacting with them

2: Observe and comment on them: this is the fun part of parenting, watching your child play games, drawing, playing music, singing, perform, learning new skills and attempting comedy, etc.. all you have to do is, watch, enjoy, celebrate with a smile, applaud them and a pat on their back provide praise and encouragement
3: Expose your child to different activities: children should be exposed to all types of opportunities to try new things such as sports, music, art, drama, science, reading new books, visiting parks, the forest, beach, etc.

4: Show patience and understanding: no matter the situation, patience, and understanding are always good to maintain. dealing with children can be frustrating, being patient and showing you understand how they feel can help a lot.
5: Encouragement: words of encouragement can be as simple as saying 'I LOVE YOU' you call them encouraging names like my greatness, my big man or big woman.. and provide a smile or a pat on the back...

Yeah, I think I have made lots of few points to make your child special, to bring the uniqueness in them... also note that no child is dull when it gets to learning.. some understand by illustration, visual teaching, or singing the teaching if possible.in some cases, you see a brilliant child in the nursery section, suddenly turn dumb in early primary Level, not because they suddenly became dull, but they have not understood the teaching pattern or probably, the method isn't suitable to them... value your child, treasure your Jewel, and cherish what they are best at... let's keep building a strong nation...
