I recently watched again the movie Star Wars, because I'm a big fan of the movie.
I just wanted to share with you a short scene that inspired me a lot.
In the scene Yoda, the Jedi Master trains the young Jedi apprentice Luke Skywalker. In one particular scene, Luke Skywalker's plane had landed in a lake and Yoda was teaching Luke how to use The Force, to use the power of his mind to pull the plane up out of the lake and bring it to dry land. And Luke tried: the plane was lifted and then sank again, sinking into the lake.
Frustrated with Luke and his inability to comprehend this, Yoda then used The Force, lifted the plane by his mind, and brought it ashore. I know this is just a scene from a motion picture, but that's the point: when Luke saw Yoda do this, he said, "Oh my goodness, I don't believe it!". And Yoda said: That's why you can't do it. Because he couldn't believe it, he couldn't get it done.
Then I thought a lot and I think in life it works exactly the same. Before we reach our goal we have to believe that we can reach it.
