Well, not really "random"...
Disclaimer: Not a scientist here.
If you were to draw a straight line, starting at your present position, you would end up at your starting position. We could say that the straight line is not straight, but rather curved to the form of the earth. Is a straight line actually just a broken circle that has lost it's form??
If you where alone in space, and you looked in every possible direction, you may come to the conclusion that the universe is a sphere...with you at the center.
Moons move in circular movements around their planets. It's the same for planets orbiting their suns, suns around their galaxy's center, at least in spiral galaxies. Personally, I would suggest that galaxies are moving around the center of the universe.
And on a smaller scale. Electrons orbiting the nucleus of an atom.
Actually, it seems that no projectile can fly in a straight line. Not even the heavenly bodies. Gravity doesn't seem to allow it.
Spring, summer, fall and winter is a straight line around the year.
Some say that only consciousness exist. Hmmm...are we just figments of it's imagination?! Anyways, it could then be said that we're born, we live, we die and are born again. We repeat that process over and over again. Circle of life?
We get up in the morning, go to work, come back home and go to bed. Not the circle of life, but a circular life.
What goes around comes around. This is where the idea of treating others as you would have them treat you came. Put out those bad vibes and they will circle back...maybe heavily amplified. It's even the idea of prayer. You praying, sending those good vibes, and thankfulness or blessing, comes back. Same with magic.
Ideas, thoughts and memes take on a life of their own, when they are released into the wild. When they circle back they may not be the same. If you've ever played that game where one person whispers some word to another person, and that keeps going until the word comes back to the person who started it, you'll know what I mean.
Finally, the feeling that just everything revolves around us comes naturally to us, as individuals. Whether we like it or not, every human being is quite self centered. Mark twain shows this pretty well in "What is man".
Terrence Howard has some interesting thoughts on the subject of circular, too.
Just random musings...

What an interesting post!
Your thoughts on everything being circular are really interesting. I never thought like this before! It’s cool to think how nothing moves in a straight line, and how our lives and actions seem to loop back on themselves. And the bit about karma and evolving ideas really hits home. Bravo
Thanks for sharing these intriguing ideas!
