You went away, you got lost in the density of the streets
I liked to see you close to my eyes
in the days of flowery spring.
For the dates of the saints and the pagans
in the rains of October and the summers of June
the dry land longs for you, the winter misses you
I have not your scent of oak wood.
The doves are gone from the empty wings
time is fiercely wounded as it runs out,
there is only a sob of wind and sad flute.
Little beasts of the field, tormented
sad is your absence in the lost streets
the sky has lit up with suns, storms and glow,
a strange fauna is also gone
dry the branch falls from the thirsty tree,
you are gone, lost in the density of the streets.
