Introduction

Hello

I'm glad to participate in this contest. My school days were quite memorable. Do you want to know about it? You only need to have a minute read.

My high school life was filled with fun. I attended St. Moses Secondary School, Aba, Abia State. It's a private school owned by Dr. Bishop Moses E. Ufomba. I'm this girl that is loved by teachers and they place so much expectation on me.

I was a bright student and was known by everyone in the school. I joined many clubs. I was a member of debate Society, drama Club and i was responsible for casting news in my school.

I'm an introvert who does not like being known or mingling with friends but i ended up being known and having many people around me.

I was this girl that my teachers have high expectations on. They believe that if everybody must fail something, I'm not suppose to be part of it. Each time i have low performance, they would call me into the staff room and counsel me. Some will be angry with me and threaten to punish me.

They expect me to always have the best performance at all times. Some times, they will enter the class to ask questions before teaching, they will confidently tell my class mates that i will be able to answer questions that others could not answer. This always got me scared because i know my classmates would laugh at me if i fail to answer those questions correctly.

This made me to put my best efforts in reading. I read as if i wouldn't read again. I always like reading so that when they throw questions at me, they won't end up being disappointed and my classmate won't laugh at me. I also wanted to come out as the best. My class was so competitive and any little thing might caus you your grade.

This made some of my classmates hate me. They don't like the fact that i always answer most questions in class and loved by my teachers. Sometimes, they would plan to beat me during exams for refusing to tell them answers in the exam hall. This was a big challenge to me. Sometimes, i would report to my teachers who would warn them to desist from such act or get ready to be punished by the school.

I was just bright, humble and loved by students and teachers.

In my Junior secondary two (JS2), i got a scholarship that will last till the end of my secondary school(Ss3). My parents were excited about it.

My school was the best in my area and anyone who studies there is respected. The news about my scholarship spread across my area and anyone who sees me would congratulate me. I was so happy about it.

Due to my reading skills and good academic performance, i was the Library prefect of my school. It's a position where students are encouraged to read and also a position where the library is taken care of.

When i got to Ss1, i made a decision to go to Arts. This caused a stir amongst my teachers and management. They told me i have an outstanding academic performance and should be in science class. It was an issue but they finally listened to me and allowed me make my choice.

After my high school, i got admitted into University of Uyo where i studied Accounting. I got admission 2017 and i graduated with second class upper.

Conclusion
School life is fun when one is determined to read and maximize all opportunities there. Some times, people resolve not to read and even cheat in their exams and these has caused lots of issues to many.

I had nice experiences in school and they will continue to fresh memories to me.

I invite @gunthertopp @ruthjoe and @eliany for this contest.

It was not easy o

Thanks for your success story and your bright academic career. As per my information, every graduate must serve in NUSC. Did you do that and if yes, what was your experience in that? This is just my personal curiosity.

Your URL in contest post is wrong so please correct it. Thank you!

I will be going for the service this month. I'm yet to have the experience.

Please i don't understand what am supposed to do.

Okay. I have corrected it now. Thank you.

A picture-perfect school career! Even if it was gruelling for you at times: you have the best preconditions for any future you want. All the best for you!

Thank you for leaving a nice comment on my post.

Me encantó leerte. Mucha suerte.

Thank you
