Good evening, Dear Dreamers!

It was supposedly Mark Twain who once said: ‘We need more insane people! Unfortunately, you can see where the normals have got us...’ I used to like this saying; it paved the way for this ‘crazy’ to be seen as a mark of quality and to be worn like a badge of honour. ‘Normal’ became a dirty word...

Today I ask myself who makes this categorisation, who defines insane and normal. With what background, with what intention - and with what effect...?

Anyway, I'll leave that as food for thought and move on to normality: do you remember our penultimate "Keyword of the Week!? It was about #train... During the evaluation last week, there was - once again - a small lapse. On this occasion, I would like to explicitly point out once again: dear authors, please use the tags requested in the respective calls for entries. I use the search function to list the posts received on the topic and if the tag is not used correctly, your post may fall by the wayside... This is what happened to @grebmot. Also, a post was published after the deadline had already passed. Nothing wrong with that, of course everyone is free to post whenever they like. In terms of the competition, however, I think it's a shame.
Just like @grebmot, @vonnaputra gets 1 STEEM as a thank you for the previous participation. However, I don't want to change the final result.

And as if I had suspected it, I just checked the participation in #insane again: and lo and behold, my search is again missing a hit, a post that I happened to remember. But @alexanderkass used the tag correctly! I can't explain this discrepancy right now. My request: please follow our weekly announcements; if I miss or forget you, please let me know!

Guten Abend, liebe Träumer!

Es war angeblich Mark Twain, der einmal gesagt hat: „Wir brauchen mehr Verrückte! Wohin uns die Normalen gebracht haben, sieht man ja leider...“ Früher mochte ich diesen Spruch; er ebnete den Weg dazu, dieses „verrückt“ als Qualitätsmerkmal zu sehen und wie eine Auszeichnung zu tragen. „Normal“ wurde zu einem Schimpfwort…

Heute frage ich mich, wer denn diese Zuweisung vornimmt, wer wahnsinnig und normal definiert. Mit welchem Hintergrund, mit welcher Absicht – und mit welchem Effekt…?

Wie auch immer: ich lasse das als Denkanstoß stehen und gehe zur Normalität über: erinnert Ihr Euch noch an unser vorletztes “Schlüsselwort der Woche“? Es ging um #train… Bei der Auswertung in der vergangenen Woche hat es – wieder einmal – einen kleinen Lapsus gegeben. Aus diesem gegebenen Anlaß möchte ich noch einmal explizit darauf aufmerksam machen: liebe Autoren, verwendet doch bitte die in den jeweiligen Ausschreibungen erbetenen tags. Ich liste mir die zum Thema eingegangenen Beiträge über die Suchfunktion auf und wenn der tag nicht korrekt verwendet wird, fällt Euer Post eventuell unter den Tisch… So erging es @grebmot. Außerdem wurde ein Beitrag veröffentlicht, nachdem die Frist bereits abgelaufen war. Das ist nichts Schlimmes, natürlich ist jeder frei zu posten, wann immer es beliebt. Im Sinne des Wettbewerbs finde ich es allerdings schade. @vonnaputra bekommt genau wie @grebmot 1 STEEM als Dankeschön für die vormalige Teilnahme. Am Endergebnis mag ich allerdings nichts mehr ändern.

Und als ob ich es geahnt hätte, prüfte ich eben noch einmal die Teilnahmen zu #insane: und siehe da, in meiner Suche fehlt erneut ein Treffer, ein Beitrag, der mir zufällig noch geläufig war. @alexanderkass hat den tag jedoch korrekt verwendet! Ich kann mir diese Abweichung gerade nicht erklären. Meine Bitte: verfolgt doch bitte unsere wöchentlichen Ankündigungen; wenn ich Euch übersehe oder vergesse, macht mich doch bitte darauf aufmerksam!
