DECENCY

Hello friends, do you agree with me if I say that decency is extremely important in shaping our interactions, attitudes, and social structures? What exactly does decency imply? Hmm, according to me, it is the quality of being polite, fair, and considerate in our actions.

I believe decency begins with recognizing and respecting one's limitations. What I mean here is refraining from questions and actions that may make others uncomfortable. Why can't we respect people physically and emotionally? I think that is the first step of decency.

Decency's primary function is our ability to connect with others. It includes understanding others' feelings and responding with kindness. When we give our genuine attention to others we demonstrate our true decency.

In our decency, we use simple words like "thank you" and "please." We can demonstrate our concern for others by offering an elderly person a seat and assisting a blind person to cross the street. Those are all acts of decency.

Our decency demonstrate in our all words and actions. That means telling the truth even if it is unpleasant. Being truthful builds trust and credibility, which is a necessary component of decency.

Decency demands fairness and equality in treating all people, regardless of their background, race, or social status. It is necessary to show equal consideration for all.

In Disagreement and conflict situations, decency solves problems, preserves relationships, and fosters understanding.

Even when criticizing, decency takes priority. Good criticism promotes growth and learning while avoiding unnecessary hurt. It helps give valuable criticism while focusing on the behavior rather than attacking the person.

Finally, I can say that decency helps us in breaking down cultural and language barriers and it is an action that unites us as humans no matter where we come from.

Yes, I completely agree with everything you said.

Thanks for taking you time to read my post and your feedback.

I see decency even a little earlier, quasi before decent behaviour. You need values to guide you and a self-imposed code. A moral category, so to speak.

Yes, in a complex and challenging world, decency is a simple yet powerful value that guides us to a self-imposed code.
