-me preguntó.
-¿Qué pasó, Freddy, no quieres conocer a mi familia?
Me gustaría invitar a @acostacazorla, @sharifanamin y @hljott. Aquí la información
-Oh, my God - I screamed jumping on one leg, while holding the other leg crippled from the pain.
A young man, who I didn't see at first glance, quickly picked me up in his arms as if I were a feather and laid me down on a bench:
"Where does it hurt?" he asked me.
"Ah, on my calves," he said.
Then he took out some small needles from a black case and stabbed me where it hurt and the cramp went away.
When we left the dining room, everyone applauded my savior; I, now calm, realized that he was a tall, handsome young man. I thought he was a doctor from the university.
"My name is Freddy," he told me. "I'm a medical student, I'm about to graduate."
That day I found out that there were handsome, intelligent, and good-natured boys at the university.
We started hanging out as friends, and I liked him more and more every day. He was so charming, so special. We would go for walks along the seashore, he taught me how to make tea, he would take me to see classical ballet, to the movies, he treated me with a lot of affection and respect. I was so excited about him that I decided to invite him to my house:
-Listen, Freddy - I said excitedly - there's a barbecue at my house this weekend, they're going to celebrate my birthday, and I'd like you to come with me, so you can meet my parents and my friends.
I immediately noticed that he made a gesture of discomfort, looked down and didn't say anything.
I remembered that my mother said that when a boy didn't want to go to the house to meet my parents it was because they didn't have good intentions.
As I noticed something strange about Freddy, I asked him:
-What happened, Freddy, don't you want to meet my family?
Freddy answered:
-It's not that I don't want to meet your parents, it's that I'm vegan - he said, staring at me.
-Vegan? - I said surprised - but, well, you don't have to eat meat, you.
-No - he said in a very soft tone - it's not just that I can't eat anything of animal origin, but that I can't be in places where they're consuming it.
The day of my birthday party arrived, I knew Freddy wouldn't come, and that made me very sad. Around seven in the evening, I received a WhatsApp message from him, which said:
Can I congratulate the birthday girl?
I got very excited, and I ran to open the door to receive Freddy, who that day was more beautiful than ever. My parents met him and my friends adored him just by sharing a few greetings with him.
At dawn, they put pork on the grill, and they offered Freddy a plate; he grabbed it and took a bite with pleasure.
I was surprised that he acted like that. Besides, Freddy was very affectionate with me, not caring what others thought.
When the party was over and it was time to say goodbye, he hugged me tightly and gave me a kiss unlike any he had given me before.
The next day, I learned the whole truth. Freddy had gone to India, and had asked his twin brother, Joshua, to accompany me to celebrate my birthday.
I have been married to Joshua for twenty years now, we eat meat every weekend, at my parents' house. He is the best thing that has ever happened to me in my life.

The story is very interesting but what about his feelings for loving someone who is not the real person even though they are twins?
