We were a large group, the excursion left very early, and now we are coming down quickly, before the afternoon turns into night.

I was falling behind until I was last and was close to one of the guides, not very tall, but friendly and with a spectacular body; he caught my attention from the moment I saw him, and it seemed to me that he liked me too. The delay worked, he held out a hand to help me get over a log and then he didn't let go.

We were falling further and further behind, the group couldn't be seen or heard, the fog came suddenly like a giant sheet and covered us: first we kissed, then came the hugs, a sheet of leaves served as a bed.

When I opened my eyes in the hospital, my parents and some friends were there, I didn't understand what was happening.

They told me that they found me at dawn almost dead from hypothermia, but that I had no bruises, and that I had recovered quickly.

I didn't say anything about the guide, and I didn't remember anything, not even that I had fainted.

I went on many more mountain excursions afterwards, I tried to find the guide, I asked, and nothing, no one remembered a guide with those characteristics, besides the guides always go ahead, never behind.

Although they gave me good explanations about the effects of altitude, lack of oxygen and such things, to be able to explain what happened to me; and even though I don't tell anyone, I know he's there, in the mountains, and that one day, in the fog, I'll find him.

End

That guide might still be in the hospital.
It is better to go to the hospital and look for him.
Thanks for inviting me.
