Hello everyone. I welcome all of you in another week of this amazing community. This week, professor @wahyunahrul delivered lecture about the "Verasity" Platform. After reading the lecture carefully, i am going to perform now my homework task.

Question 1). What is Verasity? What do you think about the performance of this platform broadly?

We all are familiar with the social media platforms like Youtube, Facebook, etc which we visit on the daily base. We interact with some social media platforms regularly like youtube for watching Dramas, news, movies, or trending videos. These videos are actually uploaded by the some people who are known as the content creator. They create their channel on the social media platforms and upload the videos there. In return, they get the money by the Social media platforms.

This money is not actually given by the social media platform but from the advertisement companies. How? Let me explain. Whenever we watch a video on youtube, which is a social media platform, we see some ads in starting or at the end of video. These ads are actually of those companies who give money to the youtube platform for the advertisement of their products. The youtube run their Ads on the videos. The fee which the advertisement companies give to the social media platforms is distributed among the content creators by the social media platforms.

In this way, the content creator and the social media platforms developer make money. The advertisement companies also get benefit because their product become famous and people buy them because of which, the demand of their product increase and they make huge money.

But there are some social media platforms who show the fake views on the Ads. The Bots programs are used in such platforms to increase the views on the Ads. They get money from the companies for advertisement of their products. But instead of showing them to the human being who are able to purchase them, they do not show them and get views through the Bots program. The views on the Ads increase but this is totally wastage of the money for the companies because their products are not reaching to the human. Their products and services are not getting popular and famous among the people even after paying big amount for advertisement purpose to the social media platforms.

The social media platforms, instead get views from the Bots. Bots are actually the programs which are used to increase the views on the video. To get rid of this issue, the Verasity Platform was introduced in 2018 which is actually a blessing not for the companies, But for every involved person.

The Verasity platform is a popular blockchain based platform which is use to solve the fake views problem. This platform use the Proof of Views where the fake views are filtered out and only real views are show. The companies get the real views. The people get to know about their products and they get benefit. Here the mechanism is same. The companies give money to the platform and platform then distribute the money among the content creators.

But the problem of fake views which were there for long time is solved because of this platform. Here not only the companies and the content creator make money, but the users who use this platform and watch videos are also generate the income. The can be rewarded just by watching the videos on this platform. It is such a cool and reliable platform where everyone is doing his jo in clear way. This platform is now partner of multiple other social media platforms which show how popular and important this platform is.

Many other social media platforms and the gaming platforms are working in partnership of the verasity platform. This platform is use the Layer technology to filter out the fake and bot views and show only the real views.

Question 2). How does the Proof of View system used by Verasity validate real viewers? Explain in detail and make an illustration about it.

The Verasity platform is also a video sharing platform where the content creator make money. Not just content creator but the viewers are also get reward. This platform is just blessing for the companies who pay such big amount for playing the Adverts of their products on the video platforms for the advertisement of their products.

Before the Verasity, there were many other social media platforms where the content creator were allowed to upload their videos and earn money. This money come from the Social media developers who received it from the companies. The companies paid them, they distribute among the content creators and run their adverts at any portion of the video. But here the flaw was, the social media platforms were deceiving the companies by showing them the fake views. Instead of showing the ads to human, they got views from the Bots program. This was the wastage of money for the companies.

The Verasity platform is based o blockchain and solve this problem by filtering out the fake views. The Proof of Views consensus algorithm is use here to filter out the fake views. This consensus algorithm ignore the fake views and show only the real views because of which, every involved parties get benefit.

Here the AI is being use to catch the fake views. They identify such views from their behavior. We know that human are very unpredictable. But the Bots are predictable. They show the similar behavior and thus get catch by the Verasity Layer protocol.

When a content creator create a video and upload it, it is available to watch. When u person watch this video on the verasity platform, a view is received which is added in the database chunk. This chunk is then hashed and added on block. This block is compared with each other block. If this view's behavior is same as others, it is identified as fake view. This is considered a s a view from the Bot and it is npt added on the chain nor it show on the views. If the behavior is change, it is identified as the real view and added on the chain. A very clean ecosystem is created because of the verasity platform.

Question 3). Why is "fake viewers" so detrimental to all parties related to videos and advertisements that are shown

The Fake view is very detrimental for all the parties related to the video and the advertisements that are shown. Here i will explain how.

First of all, let consider the advertisement companies. They pay very big amount to play the adverts of their product on the video sharing platform. This is actually the advertisement of their products and people get to know about their goods and services. They take interest in the company's product and thus the companies get the benefit. But if the social media platform do now show those Ads to human and start showing the fake views on the Ads of the companies, it will be heavy lose for the companies. The fake views get from Bots, These are just the programs. This is just the wastage of the company's money. This is how the companies get disturbed from the fake views.

Next are the content creator. Because of showing the fake views, the content creator lost their credibility. If their videos have million views and a person just consider it a very good video. Now if he open the video to watch it and video is not according to his expectation and is of low quality, people will not like it and next time, they do not watch video of this content creator considering that he show the fake views on his video and his videos are not worthy. Moreover, when the fake views will be shown on the adverts, the advertisement companies will stop investing their money any more in advertisement. Which is the lose of money for the content creator.

Now if we talk about the Social media platform, for deceiving the companies, the will also lose their trust. The companies next time will not give them money because of showing the fake views. If companies are not getting he benefit, then why they even will pay. They may find some else way for advertisement of their product.

Question 4). Mention and explain ways so that we can get VRA Token rewards.

There are basically the two ways to earn the VRA token reward on the Verasity Platform.

Staking

Staking is a very useful and profitable way to earn the VRA token on the verasity platform. Here the users stake their tokens and earn the VRA token reward. But Minimum amount which we can stake on the Verasity platform per day is 10,000 VRA and the maximum amount which we can stake in a day is 200,000,000 VRA. For staking the VRA, we get the 0.007% VRA token as reward which mean that we can earn 25.55% VRA in a year by staking on the verasity o daily base.

Watching Videos

Next way of earning the VRA token on the verasity platform is watching the videos. This platform also give award to those who watch the videos. The viewers can also earn by watching the videos which have been uploaded on this platform. 1 VRA token is given to the user for watching 1 video. You can earn 5 VRA by watching 5 videos o the daily base

Winning the Contest

We can earn the VRA token on the Verasity platform by winning the Contest, games or tornament. Here the people organize the content, by participating and winning those content, we can earn the VRA token.

Question 5). What is VRA Virtuous Cycle? Explain it in detail.

The Sic feature are combined together to complete the Virtuous cycle which is shown as below. These are the features which keep the flow of the Verasity platform smooth. The platform work smoothly because of these features.

• Buyer Buy VRA: The influencers, developers, sponsors and publishers can buy the VRA token to perform their activities and to fund tournaments and/or campaigns.
• Verasity Earn: The users can earn VRA by participating the the contests.
• Earn VRA: Then user earn the VRA just by watching the videos or playing games.
• User Benefits: The sponsors, game developers also get the reward in form of VRA .
• Uses VRA: The users also need to pay some fee to participate in the games or contest. They can pay fee in VRA.

• Click on The Link

• Then Click on the Create Account
  

• Then Enter email, Password, accept the privacy policy and click o the create account.

• A verification code will be send to your email, enter that code.
  

• Then use the Google Authenticator to Scan the code which will be shown on the next page.

• A code will be generated on the Authenticator app. Enter that code.
  

• Then we need to save the recovery key. For this, click on the SAVE THE KEY button.

• Then click on Go to Complete Button

• Then enter your name, city, country and phone number. Click on Submit and your account has been created
  

Question 7). Explain what use cases the VRA Token has in the Verasity ecosystem.

We can use the VRA token for the staking purpose in the Vera Wallet. We can stake the VRA and can earn the money on the verasity platform.

This token is use to organize the monetize the contest and tournament on the Verasity platform. The publisher, game developers and contest organizer thus buy this coin.

This token is use to give the reward to the users on the verasity platform. I have explained above, this platform even give reward to the viewers. The users view the video and get the VRA token as reward.

This token is use to pay the fee which is require on this platform to participate in some contest or tournaments or to play the games. The users can use this token to pay the fee.

This token can be use by the game developers, contest organizer to carry out their activities on the verasity platform. This coin is use on the Verasity platform to carry out the activities.

First CLick on the Staking VRA option which i marked in the below screen short.

Then CLick on the Stake VRA button

Then input the VRA amount which you wanna stake and click on the continue button to continue your activity. Your VRA has been staked successfully.

Conclusion

The Verasity is a very useful platform which was introduced in 2018 to solve the fake views problem. This platform is use to show only the real views and filter out the fake views. There are multiple ways to earn the money on the verasity platform. This platform use the Proof of Views where the fake views are filtered out and only real views are show. The companies get the real views.
