Steemit Crypto Academy | Summary On Homework Task Week 08 - Season 03

Crypto Academy Season 03 has come to an end with last week closing and I am extremely happy to see the level of improvement shown by students. In the first week, students were having trouble to understand and deliver the required task but it is great to see that so many students have learnt and improved a lot from my lectures.

In 8th week, a total of 112 students have submitted homework tasks for grading. It was great to see as the number of tasks submitted were double than the average from previous weeks. I would like to appreciate all the students who put full effort into producing quality homework and tried to understand the course.

We have learned about the trading the sharkfin pattern and how to use it effectively. I have tried to keep it very simple while explaining so you can get hold of the strategy and apply it in your real trading as well. It is good to see that most of the students have picked this great strategy and it will help them definitely in their trading.

The homework assignment was made of the following questions that need answers.

1 - What is your understanding of Sharkfin Patterns. Give Examples (Clear Charts Needed)

2 - Implement RSI indicator to spot sharkfin patterns. (Clear Charts Needed)

3 - Write the trade entry and exit criteria to trade sharkfin pattern (Clear Charts Needed)

4 - Place at least 2 trades based on sharkfin pattern strategy (Need to actually place trades in demo account along with Clear Charts)

Areas for Improvement

It was great to see that students have shown great improvement from starting week to last week. I am glad that students have benefited from my experience and produced some great quality homework. There are not much to say about improvement but I would still mention few areas of improvement that were observed during the homework tasks checking.

• The most important thing lacking in many of the students tasks was practical approach. The have understood the strategy but they did not placed the trades in actual market. If you will not trade in live market, you will not be able to succeed in trading world.

• Few of the students have not marked the entry and exit levels on the sharkfins correctly. Some of them placed the exit levels too early that will result in premature trade exits and the strategy will not be beneficial in long run.

• Few of the students placed limit orders far away from current market price. You need to understand that placing of the order in current market is the requirement and you should do it on current market prices, not just marking price in the past and showing the trade opening dialogue box.

Results Statistics

I am sharing the week 08 results statistics where 114 students completed the tasks and submitted them for grading before the deadline.

Homework Content Quality

I have categorized the grade marks to assign quality tags for homework tasks.

• Excellent - Above 9 to 10 marks tasks were graded as Excellent
• Good - Above 6.5 to 9 marks tasks were graded as Good
• Average - Above 5 to 6.5 marks tasks were graded as Average
• Below Average - Less than 5 marks tasks were graded as Below Average

I am very pleased to see the level of improvement shown by many of the students who were doing my tasks from week 01 and I am sure you guys have learnt something valuable that will help you in trading world.

Students have learned from the previous weeks and put some great efforts this week which resulted in significant improvement in Excellent and Good tasks. The number of excellent tasks were 35 which acknowledges the hard effort put in by the students who understood the strategy and applied it effectively. The number of Good Tasks were 60 while average grades were given to 16 students who have also done a good job. The number of tasks graded below average were 03 and the reason was a lack of clear understanding of the strategy.

Homework Tasks Grading Score

Steemit Crypto Academy gives special importance to the quality of content and we want students to make genuine efforts in completing their homework tasks. Content quality does not mean the text but you should focus on making great quality and clear charts that will show your understanding of the strategy.

I am sharing the grade point score data given to students for week 08. The average score for this week task is 8.16 which shows significant improvement in understanding and quality of homework tasks produced by students.
