Although cryptographic tokens are created from a few lines of code, the potential they have is gigantic. We are already using them today to create digital assets equivalent to real assets such as stocks, real estate or to create innovative product tracking systems in the supply chain. And as digitization continues, the list of their applications continues to grow.

Currently, the most popular token type is created on Ethereum ERC-20. However, the continuous development of Blockchain technology in recent years has led to the creation of numerous alternatives. New token types are characterized by innovative technological solutions and adaptation to specific business needs.

Explain in detail the ERC-1155 token.

ERC-1155 is a standard digital token created by Enjin that is used to create both fungible (coins) and non-fungible (digital cards, mascots and game masks (NFT) assets on the Ethereum network. It is based on previous token works such as, for example: ERC-20 and ERC-721. Being on the Ethereum network, these sorts of tokens are extremely secure, exchangeable and immune to hacking. Transactions could be bundled, thus reducing the cost of transferring tokens, enabling more efficient transactions. In other words, ERC-1155 is a multi-token standard. This means that it allows any combination of non-exchangeable fungible tokens to be managed under a single contract, including the transfer of multiple token types simultaneously.

ERC-1155 standard tokens can act as if they were ERC-20 or ERC-721 tokens or both at the same time and under the same address.

The ERC-1155 token standard makes it possible for a smart contract to govern an unlimited number of tokens. Each token is semi-fungible, unlike other tokens such as non-fungible ERC-721 tokens that can only be owned by one address each.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Increases the ability to create tokens in masses with minimal effort.
• Avoids duplicate code that often occurs in other ERC tokens.
• Its operations are performed in just two steps
• They ensure that the event logs provided by the smart contract generate sufficient data to create an accurate record of all current token balances.

Cons

• Loss of traceability in transactions.
• Causes more developers to use this token in their projects to make them massive. Therefore, it has a disadvantage compared to other ERC tokens.

ERC-1155 is the result of a great work of the blockchain community to respond to the problems that had arisen in the use of the ERC-20 and ERC-721 standards. Undoubtedly, it is a token more suitable for the needs of video game platforms. However, it can be extended to other areas of the cryptocurrency market.

ERC-721 token

ERC721 tokens, are non-fungible tokens (NFT) that allow developers to monetize ownership of any arbitrary data by dramatically increasing the design space of what can be represented as a token on the Ethereum blockchain.

The biggest differentiator of non-fungible tokens is that each one is linked to a different identifier, making each token unique to its owner. ERC721 is a standard interface for non-fungible tokens, meaning that ERC721 tokens are simply a subset of Ethereum tokens.

TRC-20 token

TRC20 is a standard Tron blockchain token. TRC20 tokens are one of the most prominent tokens in the market. Generally, TRC20 is a technical standard that relies on the implementation of smart contracts when using the Tron blockchain to create and launch a TRC20 token.

TRC20 standard tokens help traders and investors to conduct secure token transactions without risk. In addition, these tokens are becoming the main focus of crypto token enthusiasts.

However, the TRC20 token standard is very similar to the ERC20 token standard. The TRC20 standard token can implement additional logic that is absent in TRC10 standard tokens.

Apart from this, TRC20 standard tokens have a high power level and bandwidth capacity compared to TRC10 standard tokens. That is why many startups and entrepreneurs are willing to create TRC20 tokens and approach the best TRC20 token development company to create a secure TRC20 token.
