Hello everyone, twas so nice reading through the lecture post of Prof. @sapwood. Below is my homework post.

How do I connect my TronLink Wallet to Sun.io?(Screenshots needed)

To answer this question, I will be using my TronLink wallet. Below are the steps.

Step 1

I launch my TronLink wallet.

Step 2

On the landing page of my TronLink wallet, I click on discover.

Step 3

On this window, i will on SUN.

Step 5

On this window, I will click on Enter

Step 6

This is the landing page of sun.io. I will click on the two parallel line at the top right corner

Step 7

I will click on my TronLonk wallet address.

My wallet is successfully connected to sun.io

What are the different liquidity mining pools? Which one offers the highest APY? How many different rewards do I get by staking LP token? (Screenshots needed)

As at the time of writing this post, there were nine liquidity mining pool on sun.io. They are;

USDT-TRX

USDJ-TRX

TUSD-TRX

SUNOLD-TRX

WBTT-TRX

JST-TRX

BTC-TRX

ETH-TRX

WIN-TRX

Mining Pool with the highest APY

Amongst the 9 several mining pools available in sun.io, SUNOLD-TRX has the highest percentage APY which is 36.08%

Mining Bonus For Staking

Basically, LP providers gets 5 tokens as reward for staking LP. But as a new update, there is an additional one more token in the Tron Century Mining.
So, there are 6 rewards in the century mining and they are, TRX, SUN, BTT, JST, WIN, and BTCST.

How to get LP Tokens by adding liquidity at JustSwap And What is the quantity

Below are the steps I can get LP Tokens by adding liquidity at Justswap.

Step 1

I will launch my TronLink Wallet and click on Discover on the landing page.

Step 2

I will click on JustSwap and it will take me to https://justswap.io.

Step 3

On the landing page of https://justswap.io, i will click on pool.

Step 4

I will click on Add Liquidity

Step 5

I will select a token. I will like to go with the USDT token.
I will input the amount of TRX I want to supply in exchange for USDT and click on supply.

Step 7

I will confirm the transaction

Step 8

This shows that the transaction was successful.

Step 9

And finally, back to the home page to see the added token.

The Quantity Of LP Token Obtained

• Added 15 TRX and 1.023916USDT

• Received 17533584 S-USDT-TRX

• 383 Bandwidth was consumed

• 60,902 Energy was consumed

• 8.52614 TRX burned for energy

How to stake LP Token to earn five different tokens on Sun.io? ( With Screenshots)

Below are the steps to stake LP Token to earn six different tokens on sun.io

Step 1

I will launch my TronLink wallet. And then click on discover.

Step 2

Click on SUN app.

Step 3

Since I previously used USDT in the previous question, I will chose the USDT-TRX LP pair then click on select.

Step 4

Here needs my approval so I will approve.

Step 5

I will input the amount of LP token I want to stake and the click on stake

Step 6

The transaction is processing and will be successful in a very short while.

Step 7

To confirm if the transaction was successful, I will go back to the landing page of sun.io. As seen above, the transaction was successful and I have some good rewards. Though small but it will accumulate.

Which reward(out of five different rewards) can be withdrawn at any time? How do claim that (indicate that in the screenshot)?

To know which token can withdrawn out of the six, below are the steps.

On the Tron Century Mining, specifically, the pair I staked, I will click on manage

Step 2

Click on claim

Step 3

From here, it is seen that SUNOLD is available for claim anytime.

To practically claim the reward

To claim the reward, below are the steps.

Step 1

Here, I will click on claim

Step 2

Here, I will authorize the claim process with my wallet password.

Step 3

The claim has been submitted and being processed.

What is the schedule of unlocking the mining rewards? Indicate the total undistributed/distributed mining rewards in the screenshot?

Withdrawing reward from the mining pool of the staked token, as mentioned by Prof. @sapwood, not all rewards are immediately ready for claiming anytime exception of SUNOLD.

Even the SUNOLD which is readily available for claiming, we can only claim 33% of all the available claimable reward.
The rest of the mining rewards can be claimed after 7 days (one week) for a period of 24 weeks.

Here is my upcoming rewards which will be claimable in a period of 7 days.
So <$0.001 is my total distributed / undistributed mining rewards for now.

Include the real example of your interaction with Justswap and Sun.io as required in this task? Indicate how a "stake"(in Sun.io) function consumes different "Energy & Bandwidth" than "obtaining LP token" (in Justswap)? You should add/remove a small amount of liquidity to obtain/redeem your LP token(as little as 1 USDT worth)? (Screenshots needed)

Interaction With JustSwap

On just JustSwap;

• I supplied 15 TRX + 1.023916 USDT.

• I received 17.533584 S-USDT-TRX

• Consumed Bandwidth was 383 Bandwidth

• 60,902 Energy was consumed

• 8.526141 TRX was burned to accommodate the transaction.

Interaction With Sun.io

• I staked 17.533 USDT-TRX-LP

• 313 Bandwidth was consumed

• 89,516 Energy was consumed

• 12.5321 TRX was burned for energy.

Comparison of the Bandwidth/Energy consumed by Sun.io staking and obtaining LP token on JustSwap.io

From the table above, it can be deduced that sun.io consumed more energy than JustSwap.io, when it comes Bandwidth, JustSwap.io consumed more bandwidth than sun.io. Also, TRX burned for energy on sun.io is a bit higher than TRX burned for energy on JustSwap.io.

How do I unstake LP token and claim mining rewards(Sun.io)?

On the landing page of my TronLink wallet, I will click on Discover

Click on the SUN dApp.

From the Tron Mining Century, I will chose the token I already staked and now want to unstake

Input the amount I want to unstake and then click on ** claim & unstake**

Then I will approve the transaction by providing my password.

I have successfully unstaked and claimed my reward.

Conclusion

JustSwap and SUN are two rewarding dApps that exists in the Tron Ecosystem. They allow users to provide LP tokens and get some extra rewards at the end of a specific period of time. That is such a great way of utilizing the TRX tokens we own.
