On Sunday, February 28, Google's finance portal, Google Finance, added in the “compare markets” section a tab with the title of “Cryptocurrencies”, where the prices of four crypto assets can be reviewed in real time.
To access the section, once inside the site, you just have to click on the "Cryptocurrencies" tab, which is after the tabs predetermined by Google Finance for the markets of: United States, Asia and Europe; and the Currencies tab (currencies).
The search giant has gradually been adding tools for cryptocurrencies within its sites because, before this update, information about Bitcoin could already be seen in the "Coins" section.
The update of Google Finance responds to the increasing presence of cryptocurrencies both in the business environment, where they are increasingly integrated, and in the day-to-day life of ordinary people. Such is the case in Portugal, where electricity service can be paid with bitcoins.
