Steemit Crypto Academy - Summary on Trading Competition for Fredquantum-Kouba01 Traders Team | S6T2

in hive-108451 •  3 years ago
The second trading week in Season 6 has ended in the Steemit Crypto Academy, the competition that started about two weeks ago. For last week, I invited traders to join my team with professor @kouba01, I appreciate the ones that joined and I will be reporting the participation in this summary.

Fredquantum-Kouba01 Traders Team Report

A total of 10 participants joined the team for the week and 9 filled the Google form but not all fulfilled the requirements, as such there are entries that are not verified and are disqualified for that reason. It's a hard decision to make but it has to stand to maintain a healthy chain, I will advise users to pay closer attention to rules of participation subsequently.

Above is the list of the traders that participated in our team for the week that ended the 5th of March 2022. These users are the ones that made posts and correctly filled the form satisfactorily to some extent. Verified section of the table stands for the entries from traders that fulfill all the requirements of participation. @armstrongdiho has all his trades unverified while one of @alihussain07's was disqualified because it didn't meet the requirement, @chilaw inputted wrong details and @maazmoid123 didn't fill the Google form at all. I will give the reasons below.

  • In the form filled by @armstrongdiho, the trader didn't fill the trade's profit/loss rather he filled in his stop loss levels which are wrong, it's hard to know if the trades ended in profit or loss. I could have taken the details from the video uploaded by this user, unfortunately, he didn't show the profit/loss in the screen record as well. I will refer @armstrongdiho to my review on one of his trade entries, I reminded him to add the profit/loss in the form but it's quite unfortunate, he didn't take note of that.

  • In the last trade made by @alihussain07, the user claimed to be holding the asset while he failed to add the current profit or loss for verification.

  • @chilaw inputted wrong entry and exit levels. Instead of the entry and exit price levels, she filled the amount of funds used for the purchase of the asset and that is wrong.

  • As stated earlier, @maazmoid123 didn't submit any response to the Google form.

Trades Performed by the Traders in the Team and their Results

Now that we have talked about the valid entries that fully complied with the rules of participation, let's take a look at the trades made by the traders as segmented to days, the pairs traded, entry and exit points and profit/loss.

Team's Profits and Losses

In the previous section, I have highlighted how the trades went for each trader in a sequence of the first till the last one. At this point, we would take a look at how each trader has affected the team's profits and losses.

Profit or Loss4.png

From the analysis above, it's is evident that the team's lost a total of -3.5389 USD from the overall 24 trades carried out after 3.8919 USD profit was cancelled out by -7.4308 USD loss. This can be attributed to the crypto market volatility, trader's method which is not solid enough, and poor trade management. Out of the 24 trades, 15 of it resulted in profits while the remaining 9 resulted in losses.

Team Winning Rate (%) = Number of Profit Trades/Total Number of Trades--- 15/24 x 100 = 62.5%.

Top 2 Winners for the Week

As it becomes so important to choose top articles for the week, I will have to select some traders in this category even though not all their trades' results are good. They are the only ones that have traded 5 assets and filled the Google form correctly. Take a look at the top winners for the week in our team.

Traders Link Rank
@sachin08 Link 1
@msquaretk Link 2
In order, I have ranked the two traders based on their most profitable trades and their winning rate (number of profit trades/trader's total trade), as such, they should be aware of the competition ahead when other traders would join in the future.

Conclusion

In conclusion, the trade results for the team this week aren't too satisfactory. I have highlighted the importance of getting the trading method right and this I did while I was reviewing the entries that were submitted to me and I hope they'd work on the areas I have highlighted, and come back stronger in the future. Thanks to everyone for participating and I look forward to your improvement.

Prof. @fredquantum I don't understand the requirement you said I missed that made my post to be invalidated

The last input of the response in the Google form for each traded assets must be your profit/loss and not stop loss levels that you have inputted. In short, we didn't know if your trade closed in profit/loss, also in the video, you have not showed your trade history that shows your entry/exit points with the profits/losses. I reminded you of this two times while reviewing your trade posts but you failed to notice it.

Now take a look at one of your input below.

iMarkup_20220307_080727.jpg

And that's how you filled the entire form which is very wrong. The video too failed to show your profit/loss because you have recorded only order history while neglecting your trade history which could have showed your profit/loss. In that way, I might probably think of considering extracting it from the video based on the number of entries you submitted. Unfortunately, no choice.

Please, all you need to know about your trades' invalidation has been included in this piece. Thank you.

Hello Prof @fredquantum,
Please, kindly recheck my details because from your explanation above, that was the exact inputs from me or am I still incorrect with that? I was thinking I would have entered the Buy and Sell Order values. But in all this, my screen record displayed all these details correctly. I'm not just happy with this.

I think is very painful after making 5 entries and what I received is invalid and disqualified because of a little mistake.

The Trading contest organised by @steemitblog was a nice idea but people shouldn't be disqualified after making entries just because of a little mistake there should be a consideration not just to disqualify the user.

Honestly, I'm not happy with the decisions. Well, let me believe last week was a bad week for me after all the suffering.

Professor here is the prove of my trade. After filling the form I exit my trade
IMG_20220307_094957.jpg

The mistake is from your side, you have to fill the form correctly with proof of the current situation of the market. Also, you could have added your stop loss level, such that I will be able to deduce what state your trade is at, loss or gain. In addition, you filled the form at 2 pm, you could have waited to see if your trade closes before submitting the form. As far as I know, it's not a long term trade as you have inputted the take profit level, no stop loss level, why? Sorry for the occurrence, you should work on that subsequently.

Respected I did not know about it because it was my first trade I did not exit until I filled the form so please kindly consider my trade

Oh, prof @fredquantum, but the video clip was still sent in to verify the Buy And Sell positions even when I didn't input them correctly.

What essence was the video clip for if not for confirmation.

All requirements must be met. Correct entries backed with a screen record. In short, it starts from appropriate inputs then confirmation of the inputs through the screen record. If I didn't highlight it now, you would do it again in the future maybe for another professor's entries and that time it might affect you more than this.

Well taken Prof, but also note that the inputted values were CORRECT Buy and Sell amounts which still validates the profit/loss in trade. Your correction should be on the sidelines and not to invalidate my entire input not be curated.
