INTRODUCTION

It is the end of another exciting Steemit crypto academy week. This week has more participants compared to the previous week, with 126 assignments this week to 107 assignments last week. I must say that you people are the best. Securing our wallets, networks, and nodes is very important in the cryptocurrency world especially during this bull run. It is no doubt that malicious actors are trying every possible technique to rob people of their funds, so knowing about cryptocurrency security is vital. General Observation, Guidiance, and Reactions

It was a long week attending to several posts and I must say that I found several amazing posts with a lot of improvements compared to the previous weeks and I still made a few observations, and I will be writing a little on them below.

Plagiarism

One of the reasons why I spend longer time on posts is trying to confirm is a post is plagiarism-free or not. Compared to the previous weeks, I didn't find so much plagiarized content but then it was not a plagiarism-free week and several people still spun posts.

Grammatical construction and typographical errors

This is one setback I am trying to work on. It is no doubt that we are bound to make mistakes and we are not error-free creatures but then, minimizing these errors is important so as t have a readable post. I found several posts with typographical errors, omissions, and wrong spelling. To bring to a bearest minimum this concern, it is advisable to use writing assistant tools to check for spellings and grammatical structures.

Phishing Links Flying Around

A lot of users have heard their posting keys or their master keys stolen by malicious actors. These actors have been using this account to spread phishing links as comments on posts. I saw a few cases where a stolen account @desic was used to spread phishing links. I will advise that you do not click on a link you are not sure of/conversant with. Also, do not let greed set in as most phishing links are promising things that are questionable. Be Cautious Please.

It will be very difficult to hack into these exchanges to steal funds (it isn't impossible but it is difficult) but then, they can steal funds from users by creating fake exchange sites. After these sites are created, they can reach their targetted audience by paid adverts, emails, or messages. Since most people do not check the connection security of most sites they log into, there is a possibility of giving their log-in information to a clone exchange. With this, the hackers can use the details to log into the main website and steal funds. - @eni-ola

Explaining how cryptocurrency enthusiasts, investors, and traders can lose their funds by logging into fake cryptocurrency exchanges. Explaining how coupons and other attractive baits would be used to lure account owners.

A fairly common method of crypto-jacking is through browsers. In general, hackers use JavaScript codes present on the internet in order to hack you. - @kouba01

@kouba01 made it to this list after writing about cryptojacking. The user took time to explain the process, precaution, and possible solution if a system is cryptojacked. Interestingly, the user replied to comments and answered the question asked on his post.
