I am very grateful since I registered my account in steemit in 2021 and to this day my account has never been hacked at all. When I was first in steemit, I once got strange links sent by unknown people through comments on my posts.

What made me almost tempted at that time was because there were a number of prizes in the form of STEEM, STEEM POWER and SBD which were offered in this strange link, and lucky me at that time before I pressed the link I first asked my seniors in steemit regarding the actual function of the link, whether the link is purely from the steemit team or not.

And I also got very surprising information that you don't care about links like that because most of them belong to very dangerous hackers, by pressing these links our account wallet will be very easy to be hacked by very bad hackers. So from my experience I can conclude that strange links sent via comments to our posts are very dangerous and my advice is never to be pressed.

This is a very good question, to keep our accounts from being hacked that we never want, my advice is that we never store our account passwords in databases related to the internet.

Because every data that we store on the internet will be very easily hacked by professional hackers. Then we must really avoid sending our account passwords via WhatsApp, Instagram and even Facebook messages, because that will be an easy target for hackers to steal the assets in our steemit account wallet.

If you want to store your account password safely, you better save it in handwritten form and store it properly in your cupboard, or you can also print your account password using a printer because it's completely not connected to the internet.

My advice is that you immediately save your account password safely and can easily access it, because what happens in the future we will never know. Be grateful if our account is not hacked, just imagine if the password on your smartphone is lost or your smartphone is lost, then it will be a big disaster for you.

As far as my observations are concerned, usually several accounts are hacked because the owner of the account is negligent in maintaining the account password, sometimes the account owner has also stored his account password in pirated software or in a third party application as I said above.

This will be very dangerous because hackers will continuously monitor our movements on social media, when they find a gap they will immediately take this heinous action which will make us lose all the assets in our favorite account.

As long as I was in steemit and what I saw firsthand when the steem.amal account was hacked, what was stolen were assets in the form of STEEM and SBD, while steem power had not been stolen because the account was immediately restored by the admin.

Therefore, if you want to save a large amount of steem in your wallet, it is better for you to do a power up or you can also save it in saving mode so that in the event of a hack, your assets cannot be transferred immediately.

If I meet someone whose account has been hacked, I will advise him to be more careful in storing his password. Then I will also give a little education and advice so that person does not get discouraged.

When I see my account has been hacked, the first thing I do is change my steemit account password using the Private Owner Key password and I immediately turn off the power down if the hacker has extinguished my steem power, as well as if the assets in Saving have been hacked I will restore it right away so that the hackers can't take my assets and also so that the hackers can't damage my account even more.
