After carefully reading professor @awesononso's lecture I am going to perform the activity proposed by the professor. for task 3
What is a cryptocurrency?
Since the creation of Bitcoin in 2008 and the release in 2009 in January, cryptocurrencies began to exist on January 3 when the first block of bitcoin was mined which gave as a reward 50BTC to its miner opened a new digital era where the economy would no longer focus on a financial entity but in a free community "decentralization" the Bitcoin began to work through smart contracts, making transactions with greater speed and much more economical that were available to any user all over the world, each of the transactions were stored in a ledger on the blockchain.
Cryptocurrencies are digital assets whose purpose is focused on decentralization mainly where we can move the assets where and how we want if we know the btc or cryptocurrencies are extremely volatile, we can study the patterns that these generate, to make future decisions through tools "indicators" cryptocurrencies give security, comfort, do not depend on a financial institution or a third party.
Many developers and companies saw how popular BTC was becoming and decided to create other networks with blockchain based on Bitcoin, for example ETH that came out after BTC working with its own decentralized network, this created smart contracts, Token ERC-721 ERC-20 smart contracts that allow us to interact, create tokens, create smart contracts to pay salaries, etc.., very interactive but then come out more Coins as for example TRON, SOLANA, ADA, etc. to fulfill a purpose to try to curb the high costs of gas that have for example in ETH, and also to improve the scalability of the previous coins.
All orders from each network are sent to an order book whether it is done within a centralized Exchange or in a cold wallet everything goes to the same place in the network, the blockchain to keep a public record of every transaction that is executed within the digital ecosystem.
What is cryptography and how does it make cryptocurrencies secure?
Cryptography are made by mathematical equations called algorithms, these encrypt the information sent from the sender, then to be read only by the receiver no one else can read this cryptography, so the encryption gives the user confidence in the project and desire to continue making transactions or operations. the encryption is alpha-numeric so it is increasingly difficult to be solved by pirates.
The Steemit platform uses the encryption mechanism when a user wants to send a message but no one else can read it, only the receiver can do it by encrypting the content and using the private key he can read the content, while the other users only see codes and letters.
The confidence that is given to users when using cryptography is very important this generates an incredible confidence in the user and will like to continue using this type of projects or platforms, all this occurs when an algorithm confirms the transaction that is being sent, the nodes are responsible for validating the transaction through a mechanism of participation work or mined makes a hash is created and in turn a block of the transaction, for greater user security, cryptography thanks to the entire system is very safe and reliable.
Explore the Steem Genesis block and log in as a test completion
To start exploring the Steem Genesis block we have to go https://steemworld.org
To start we have to login section with our nick
Then we apply the steemit Private key
Source
Enter the platform
And go to Block Explorer
Source
Then we choose the number of Block 1

Here are just the details of the Genesis 1 block

Conclusion:
In the following research work we can note that were solved each of the slogans of the teacher as he asked them, we can say that cryptocurrencies were born to stay and create a new economic future where we will only depend on ourselves analysis and dispose of our assets 24 hours a day 365 days a year. you must maintain a discipline and expand each time more knowledge of the ecosystem. also establish strategies, you can trade, holdear, accumulate., etc. know each of the topics related to cryptocurrencies here in #SteemitCryptoAcademy you can take the courses and at the same time learn and enrich the knowledge.
Do not use the #club5050 tag unless you have made power-ups in the last month that are equal or greater than any amount you have cashed out.
