Steemit Crypto Academy Feedback and Summary

Fellow steemians,
I want to appreciate the steemitblog for such a wonderful opportunity they have given to each and everyone of us to air out our view concerning the happening in the academy since season number one to the just concluded season number five. I want to believe that after reviewing most of our feedbacks a lot of changes will take place here in the academy. Without too much pleasantly, lets go straight into the discussion of the day.

What worked well with the Academy

A few number of things has really worked well in the academy and I will be listing them below.

Introduction of the #club5050, #club75 and #club100 is a very powerful initiative by the steemitblog which has help me as a person build my steem power to some extent.
Lectures delivered by the professors are carefully selected and then taught by them. This lecture most times follow sequential order which is very good.
The issue of banding student in the academy has really help to keep the integrity of the academy very high as all content farmers have been either black listed forever or are seen in the gray list.
The Idea of getting a certain grade before your post will b curated by the curator is a very good idea as it has encourage more hard working among students. Nobody will want to spend 3 days doing an assignment without a reward.

What did not work well

In a similar way, a few number of things did not actually go well with the academy, I will be listing them below.

I have notice that reward given to the professors are very little and that is not really encouraging them. That is the reason why most professors partake in assignment as well.
Too many rules are now seen in the academy and that has really reduce the activeness of most users. I do know that the academy is aim at producing the best content writers but rules such as powering up 150SP monthly is a serious issue.

Best article for the week should not be selected from people who are above that level. This means that if you are a participant of either intermediate level or advance level, when the top 3 post for beginners level is to be selected you are not to be selected. The reward should be given to someone in that category.

The curators of the homework task should always do that to avoid homework post expiring and then reposting by students.

How you would improve the Academy? What changes would you make for future seasons of the Academy?

A scheme of work should be developed and then given to student each season to know the courses they are to cover for the season.
Rewards for professor should increase to encourage them give their best to the students in the academy. I am saying this because most of the lecture delivered is quite different from the task given by some of the professors.
A standard marking scheme should be used by all the professor so that student will know where to focus more when answering any professors question.
The #club5050 and others should be made optional. To encourage people to participate in it, a certain percentage of reward should be allocated to it.

What did you think of the marking scheme for Academy posts? And the rewards available?

Well, to me the marking scheme is okey. But a standard should be introduce in the marking scheme that will be used by all the professors. In the case of the reward, a grade of 5 and above gets the vote, it's really a welcome idea as it will help student work harder. I still want to say that the reward of professor should be increase because they are really working hard in that way they may not be partaking in other professors courses.

What I Enjoy most, what you learnt from the Academy, how I have extended my crypto learning, the crypto currencies I have started trading because of the knowledge gained.

I have no knowledge at all about crypto currency until I joined steemit. I must confess steemit has really help me through the Academy. Today I can boldly explain to few persons a little about crypto currency.

As you can see in the image above, I have started holding a few coins and this is all because of the knowledge I gained from the academy. I really want to appreciate the steemitblog for such an initiative.

Conclusion

To me, the academy has really help me in both learning and earning. This is the only place you don't have to beg for a vote. What is required here is PoB. I want to appreciate the professor for their wonderful time and the knowledge shared.
