I thought that If i will mention proper source, then it will not the case of copyright as I am mentioning proper source of the site.
This is a misconception many of the Steem users are laboring under. The ignorant advice given by these community leaders is the reason for this misconception.
As you have noticed, in the case of the image from Brainy.in you were in breach of copyright by following the advise given by your community leaders.
Until you get familiar with copyright laws yourself, you will be safe using the free images I recommended. Stick to them till then.
You are still giving only the "source" to comply with copyright laws. This may not be enough in many cases. Some of the copyright owners will ask you to follow a specific format when giving attribution to their work.
Always read the attribution format prescribed by the website owners and follow it when giving attribution.
For instance, in the case of https://unsplash.com they require you provide attribution in this format for their images:

The link for the attribution format is given on Unsplash's website. You just have to copy and paste it in your blog!
