What is ICO?
The full form of ICO is Initial Coin Offerings i.e. any organization collects funds before trading in their own cryptocurrency market. And to collect this fund, they set a minimum price for their coins. The event that the companies organize to sell their coins at that fixed price is called ICO.
What is IEO?
There is no difference between ICO and IEO. The purpose of these two is the same. Only tokens are different. The full form of IEO is Initial Exchange Offer. Organizations that hold ICOs to sell their coins to the public would host the event themselves. That means there was no third party here. And the third party has been chosen for IEO, that is, the token is sold through the exchange site.
ICO vs. IEO
- Research: In case of ICO, you need to do a good amount of research to find a legitimate ICO. In this case, at some point you may make a mistake. But for IEO, you don't need to do much research. Because the exchange from which IEO will be done, they will have done this work. Because they will not cooperate with any fake company. Due to which, if you invest in IEO, there will be no possibility of being cheated.
Trading Market: After declaring the ICO of a company, in which market will they start trading, when will they do it? Because unless you start trading in a good exchange market, good results cannot be expected. But IEO does not have to think this. Because their first trade will start in the exchange market in which IEO will be done. And it is normal to do IEO of only the exchange market that you trust.
Trading Time: Discussing on ICO, it has been seen that many companies have taken a long time to come to the market after completing ICO. In this case, starting from 1 month, it took more than 5 months just to come to the trading market. But if you discuss on IEO, IEO is being traded in the exchange markets, as a result, there is no additional hassle with which coins will be added to which market after sale. As a result, coins are being released for trading within 10 to 15 days after the coins are sold.

ICO and IEO : Which one is better
Until 2019, all the companies that have brought their coins to the market through ICO. Except for two or three institutions. The IEO journey has started since 2019. Although the purpose of ICO and IEO is the same, there is a good difference to be seen in it. The differences between the two are very important. And by highlighting the differences, you can easily tell by considering which ICO or IEO is the best and safest. Those of us who do ICOs or have an idea about ICOs can tell us how many fake ICOs have been or are going to be in the market. From the outside, it may seem like a legit ICO, but when you look up the details about that organization, you will see that it is going to be a fake ICO. The above few differences may have given you the idea that it would be better to do ICO or IEO. Of course, many people can make many arguments. But for me IEO is undoubtedly a good and safe way to invest.

So the total duration was 42 days. The only way to participate in the ICO was to pay in Bitcoin.
