Effect of influencers on cryptocurrency.

It is undeniable that influencers plays a huge role in crypto and blockchain. As a matter of fact, they serve as bridge by which crypto investors leverage to make some certain investment decisions. Known for their vast knowledge and insight, they are like shepherds who give direction to the flocks.

While there a lot who are passionate in seeing to the growth and development of the community they lead, there are pockets of them who also take advantage of the trust the community have in them.

Unfortunately, exchanges are at the receiving end of such dubious activities carried out by such act. While am excited for the calls for exchanges to be regulated in order to enhance transparency and accountability. There seems to be no law in place guiding the conduct of influencers or (KOLs) who may take advantage of their influence to promote fake projects to their community.

Do you think their should be a law/regulatory body guiding the conduct of influencers in the Crypto industry? Share your thoughts.

I agree with you especially now that a lot of users are easily swayed by the actions of their favourite influencers. A good case was what happen to Kim Kardashian but was later fined. Some dodgy project team just use these folks to dump their tokens on the community with the exchanges and the innocent user paying the highest prize.
Anyway thumbs up for some exchanges that have started standing up to this act to stop them from happening

These are the real big deals the SEC should be going after, instead of trying to go after Ripple or exchanges that are ready to secure theur users asssets. Same thing happened with REELT investors when this popular KOL Evan wanted to dump the token during listing and was cauht. Oh, what about Jake Paul? The list keeps going on
