Assalamu Alaikum everyone. Hope you are all well. I am fine by the grace of Allah. I'm back today to participate in the excellent engagement contest organized by this SteemitCryptoAcademy community. The name of this contest is Steemit Crypto Academy Contest / S10w2 - Bots in the Steem Chain, actually my first engagement post in this community. Every contest of this week is so great. So let's start, stay with me.

What is a voting bot in Steemit ?

We all know that Steemit is a platform where creative content is created based on one's own brain. So there is a robot called Voting Bot in this Steemit. It is a type of robot that is a program or tool that automatically votes on posts or content on the Steemit platform. These bots are built in such a way that automatic voting can be done using cryptocurrency Steem or SBD tokens.

Steemit's bot votes on user content according to their rules. Some Steemit users receive automated voting services from such voting bots by sending crypto tokens to their accounts. It has to be paid for. These bots are programmed in such a way that it can give unlimited votes on a post. These bots have very high Sp.

There are many types of accounts on the Steemit platform, known as bots. They can use their Steem Power to upvote the posts of other dishonest users' accounts. So these voting bots on the Steemit platform are automated bots that are able to vote on other people's content. So many users are taking this voting bot service. Many people use this voting bot service for various reasons. Especially for extra rewards. These bots are able to vote automatically.

How does a voting bot works on steemit

These voting bots on Steemit use some program or algorithm to provide upvote services on different contents. Actually as far as I know bots can upvote very fast. Like bots give upvote shortly after we post. As far as I know, these bots provide very fast upvote services to users using computers.

This voting bot service should not be used at all. The user who wants to use these bots services must first pay the bots. It can also be done with cryptocurrency tokens. This voting bot will vote according to the user's wishes. Those with higher Sp are likely to get more upvotes from this bot. Sometimes bots have their own set of voting times.

When voting for a content, these bots collect the data of the user's content and then analyze it according to their program or using the algorithm. Basically the bots scan the user's posts. These bots have specific rules and techniques. So this is how it votes automatically.

Is it worth using the bid bots to get upvotes in Steemit?

It's not worth using bid bots to get upvotes on Steemit. I think as a steemian to grow on this platform you need to rely on your brain to create quality content. This bid bot service is completely unethical. If you want to advance yourself on the Steemit platform, you have to perform all the activities with your own efforts. Then the curators will give the user the reward he deserves.

By using a bid bot he will never be able to advance himself through hard work, it will wear down the queue of thieves. Using bid bots doesn't lead a user to success, rather it makes them think of creating lower quality content. The main purpose of the Steemit platform is to support each other, comment on others' posts and increase engagement.

But bid bots destroy human effort and consciousness and it is characterized as unethical. This bid bot service can cost a lot of money which will destroy the future of the Steemit platform. So I'd say it's not worth using bid bots to get upvotes on steemit. If you create quality content, be active with everyone and create creative content, you will go a long way and inspire others.

Why are posts with bid-bot upvotes still downvoted on Steemit and why does Steemit still punishes it's users for upvoting with bots

We all know that curators always support creative content and quality content. There are several rules for working on this platform. If someone doesn't follow the rules given by steemit then he will never get support from steemit team. Working hard to produce high-quality creative content is the religion of a true Steemian.

In fact I have seen and heard that users who don't get support from the Steemit team use bid bot services unethically. Posts with bid bots to upvote many users may violate the rules and guidelines set by Steemit. If someone engages in various forms of plagiarism or copyright infringement, other users can downvote. The Steemit team has done this rule very well, as users accept bid bot services for upvotes.

This makes hard working steemians lose faith in steemit and does an injustice to creators of creative content that the steemit team does not deem acceptable. This bid bot offers illegal payments for receiving services. The Steemit team will definitely punish those users for breaking the rules. Because this bid bot service is like a virus. It would be better for Steemit if it were gone forever. So I think all these users should be downvoted and punished for their bid bot service.

How did Steemit do to combat bid-bot accounts

The Steemit team is always working for the development of us and everyone. But by accepting this bid bot service, some users are breaking the rules of the Steemit. So the Steemit team is always preparing to fight against them. The Steemit team has started projects like engagement challenges. This is Steemit's most successful and good initiative.

Because everyone is active with everyone through this engagement competition. After reviewing everyone's posts, everyone votes and comments on everyone's posts. It has faith in everyone. So those who don't think of creating high quality content, they take bid bot service. Posts various types of theft and copyright.

So the Steemit team always fights against them and punishes them. Besides, many reports from different communities are available against the bid bot service recipient. So those reports are reviewed by the Steemit Team, if they see such unethical activities, they will arrange appropriate punishment against them. I like this arrangement of the Steemit team from the heart.

Advantages and disadvantages of voting bots in Steemit

Everything in this world has Advantages and disadvantages. So this steemit voting bot also has Advantages and disadvantages which as per my knowledge are given below.

Advantages of Voting Bots :

The advantage of using a voting bot is that it is more likely to get more votes. It grows more visible than other people.

Another advantage of using voting bots is that users get more rewards instantly. Because this bid bot votes after posting. In this they get additional rewards more than others.

Another benefit of using voting bots is that users can instantly increase the visibility of their posts. Because people always see more posts of people who get more votes and make more profit by voting on those posts again.

disadvantages of Voting Bots :

The disadvantages to using voting bots is that Steemit has some user rules. If anyone accepts this bot service, it will be a violation of the rules, which the Steemit team will not tolerate. For this he will get downvoted or the account may be canceled.

Another disadvantage of using voting bots is that content generated by using bid bots can disrupt the normal process. Because everyone here is creating content by own brain. Applying bid bots leads to valuations towards financial investment rather than quality content.

Another disadvantage of using voting bot is that by using this bid bot he loses his real identity. Everyone considers him an abuser. This could ruin all of his Steemit reputation. This can reduce the responsiveness to others. Bad criticism will arise about him.

So above I mentioned the pros and cons of bid bot service from my personal knowledge. It can provide some advantages to the user on this platform and it can also provide some disadvantages.
