1 What will happen if you vote before "5 minutes old for a post" and after "6 days 12 hours old for a post" on Steem Blockchain?

This action decreases the percentage of cure and the payment after this would be affected, so it is advisable to give votes after 5 minutes of antiquity of a publication and the same happens in winter after 6 days and 12 hours in countdown , these percentages are lost, the purpose of this auction is to compete to find the publications with the highest rewards and reward only quality and unique content on steemit. I in particular did not know this, and many times I gave votes to publications less than 3 minutes old without knowing that I was losing this percentage, although it was impossible to realize the gains or losses that it generated since I am new and my SP is low and the healing rewards that I give and receive are very low that it is rarely reflected.

This is the best graphic that explains that process.

2 How do I check how much reward from a post has returned to the reward pool on Steem Blockchain?

The return of rewards in the steemit platform occurs when people vote before 5 minutes of age of the publication and the open voting process has not yet been opened, this process is called voting advantage, this window opens only after of those 5 minutes old of the publication and closes at 6 days with 12 hours old.
This return occurs in different percentages and it will depend on the voting times of each person to verify this we can go to https://steemworld.org/@username just modify your username and follow the following steps.

  • Login with your posting private Key

  • Go to the steemword dashboard and select POSTS

  • Here we only have to select a publication and let's see the following data.

  • As you can see, 0.05% of the payment returns only $ 0.014

3 Under what circumstances can a curator earn more than 100% of the value of a positive vote as a curation reward?

This is very easy to understand if it is explained how it should be, many have asked me about this because they do not understand, the thing is like this: As soon as the publication is 5 minutes old and you have detected that it is a publication that can become very popular, it is advisable to give the vote that will happen if you are the first to vote the following.

Let's explain this table is easy, if you are the first to vote and the post generated 1 dollar when paying, that is, after 7 days, you earn 50% of the money you give as a reward in that publication, if you give 1 dollar you will receive half a dollar. If the same publication instead of generating 1 dollar generates 4 dollars and you are the first to vote, you will generate 100% gain from curation, so if you gave 1 dollar to the publication, you will receive a total of 1 dollar from curation. understanding this you will be able to read the table more easily.

4 Pick any random post you have voted on Steem Blockchain and indicate the time and position of your vote, what is the projected curation reward?

  • Let's go to steemword and select the Coming Rewards section then Curation Redwards
  • We select a publication that has voted lately.

-Let's check what my position will be in the vote.

  • In this publication I have no rewards for being one of the last to vote, although as I am new it is difficult to find a publication where my earnings are reflected as they should be.

5 What is the role of curation in better content discovery on Steem Blockchain?

This question is highly related to question number 3 since when we find quality content, we will obtain more profits as curators since if said publication is highly voted and becomes trends and at the end of the 7 days that they have to collect profits their accumulated final is high the gains for our curation will therefore increase the importance of the box of question 3, and the importance of recognizing original content and with potential to become a trend.
