Before we get to know about metaverse, let's talk of virtuality.

• Virtuality:
  Virtuality is a product of imagination of things that would be or can be in the physical form. it's mostly based on imaginations.
  virtuality can also take the form of hightech animations such as displaying of 3D characters much more like it will be in the real world.

The metaverse, is a virtual reality like anything else that connect us between the real world and the virtual space. the metaverse would be a summation of 3D, virtual universe combine together online and run by a unique system. come to think of the internet, at first to send a mail to someone, you will need to go to the post office drop your mail. the receiver then gets it at the mailbox.

Hell no! strenuous right?. yes. but then with the coming of the internet, we can communicate with people through email, phone call, text, video call. this make life so easy and smooth right?. to me very simple with the internet around

With coming of the the metaverse, it would be and upgraded version of the internet which you can interact more and fill much like it the real world. one beautiful thing about the metaverse is that every operation will take place at an instant(the metaverse platform).

Features of the metaverse

• You can own you own avatar. this avatar is unique and specifically to you alone. avatar are most used in NTFs. but a much more localized avatar can be made on snapchat(found on your snapchat profile)
• You will be able to work at home, meet colleagues and have meetings on the platform using you 3D avatar. just like the corona outbreak, many people began working at home. and right now majority of want to continue work at home even as the pandemic is reduce.US. daily news report majority of works requesting to work from home or quit their jobs. with the metaverse, it solved.
• With the metaverse, you can game online and own properties such as houses, land asset,which can be bought with fiat money or by cryptocurrency majority of online games already possess this feature
• Thanks to the metaverse we will be able to socialise, interact with others on the virtual space. just like travel in time space,
  visit other virtual places.

Majority of companies are beginning to support the metaverse move. just recently facebook changed it name to meta. which is going to be a metaverse of the former.

What the metaverse aims at achieving.

When we take a closer look, we see that the isn't any 3D platform, where people can actually associate, trade or interact on a virtual space, although people owning Ntfs can buy and sell produce in online market place, it technologer is still limited. so developers aims at creating a metaverse platform more intense with multiple users than the shrinked market place.
the metaverse wish to achieve:

• A place for socialization; business and learning which will feel like it real world.
• The metaverse aims at creating a flexible environment where you will be able to carry any activity possible in real life on a visual space without having to displace yourself. it brings comfort at your doorstep.
• Metaverse also aims at connecting us to multiple locations in time space. you will be able to meet, and interact with avatar of different people across the globe.

Is the Metaverse with us already?

Although some aspects already apply the features of the metaverse, it is not yet in existence. if we look at the invention of VR goggles, creation of 3D animation objects, application in video games, we will think the metaverse is already in existence but then , we will have to wait a little while. the feature is going to make it possible but we can tell when exact. a giant tech like Meta(facebook) has began the move for metaverse which will serve of great interest to the developing countries as stated.

Technologies which can be utilized to achieve Security, Ownership and others in the Metaverse.

When we talk of the metaverse going operational, we must first put in place a secure majors to proof ownership, security and other aspects on the platform. such that we can transfer assets and money without fear. also we will need a statement of account if this platform is so much going to be part of use. developers are serious investing on crypto and blockchain to ensure this majors. other form in the development will be based on Augmented Reality we each is entitled to an avatar for various purposes.

• Digital proof of ownership. : with the crypto system. you can own a wallet. with private keys which can only be access be you alone. example will just be same a we own steemit private keys. through the wallet you can access your transaction details and lots more, which is a better proof of ownership
• Governance: since the blockchain is a decentralized economy, meaning we have the right to our own decisions and actions, we will be able to vote or select leader, get nominated on the metaverse as well.
• Accessibility: with our wallet, anyone on the public blockchain can get direct access and so we can manage and control our finance on the digital world without restriction.
• NTFs(non fungible tokens).: with NTFs we can have real and original copies of our items and make it unique, even with online fraud the item cannot be copied or accessed. this will be so much appreciated on the metaverse system.

Various technologies that would be of great benefit to the development of Metaverse.

There are two most prominent technologies, which when incorporated with metaverse will be of greater help;

• Augmented Reality: this technology gives your the actual feeling of existence, with augmented reality(AR), you can feel be part of whatever thing you are doing. this will greatly help in the development of the metaverse.

• Virtual Reality: from it name, virtual reality gives you an imaginary experience giving you the experience that you are actually part of the environment. it can be similar to real life or completely different. sometimes your avatar can come in animal form and act in accordance to whatever you do or say.

Do any Gamification developments exist that look like the Metaverse? Mention any two protocols and how they work.

Gamifications is the contextual design of enhance gaming system, services by organising them in a non gaming environment. in simple words it adding task to a game. the aim of game gamification is to enhance engagement and encourage user participation. many games has begun the application of metaverse features in the gaming systems. Gamefi and play to earn games design, are now a continuous flow of income to many users across the globe. we see that this online game provide jobs for people in the virtual environment, which is one of metaverse striving key elements. majoriaties of this game play exist.

It is a play-to-earn game that helps their users to earn while playing. this is most common across the globe especially in less developed countries with low jobs. the protocols are as follows

• The user start by purchasing(or gifted) 3 creature named axies, then the player start to farm an SLP(smooth love portion) token
• Farming here means you take your axies(monster-like creature) into battle field and put them to fight. when the fight and win, the bring you reward in the form of slp tokens.

Unlike the other blockchain games, decentranland is decentralized Autonomous organisation gorven by a set of policies to determine how its world should behave.

Decentraland was created to change the phase of the virtual reality game due to it DAO(decentralized autonomous organisation) system. with this effect, those who are part of this organisation are eligible to;

Once the game has loaded, you will be able to create an avatar for yourself and design it to your taste.once your design is complete, you will name it and click on done. next you will be dropped at genesis plaza with newly joined users and that's where your journey begins. it's left to you to explore the community with the help of the tutorial provided.

The activities left are to explore and buy land on the community. through auction sell of unclaimed land.
this is done in the marketplace. first you need to connect your metamask wallet and when it's done, click on land, you will be able to bid on available lands. apart from land you can also purchase manna on decentraland.check details here.

Advantages and disadvantages of the metaverse

advancement in technology is greatly going to influence our life style but there are also consequence which we now see.

Advantages

• One of the famous advantage is that the metaverse is going to help connect users allover the globe and beyond irrespective of distance
• We will have a better way of experiencing things around us and feel the actual context of it like its part of us.
• Social interaction is going to be at the peak. you will be able to communication more with friends, party and attend meetings in a more immerse way. all this will be possible with the metaverse.
• It's going to be a great improvement to the gaming system. we have seen some applications in games mentioned earlier. .
• It is going to improve business opportunity and provide more online jobs
• It going to foster learning as user can connect more to every aspect of the world on the platform.

Disadvantages

• Cyber crime wave might be experienced on this new platform as it has been the case on the internet. this will include, hacks, money laundry, trafficking and lots more.
• People might become addicted to the metaverse as in the case in gaming, forgetting their normal activities like, playing, eating, sleep, since every aspect is immerse in the metaverse.
• Privacy issue might become a bigger call for concerned as your entire lifestyle, is completely part of the metaverse
• Connection and hardware problems might me experience on the metaverse, just like the internet, sometimes transmission is slow or cut out due to faulty hardware this might also be experienced on the metaverse.
• Moderation issue will arise as it is going to soaked an entire universe, making monitoring aspect really difficult.

The metaverse is much more an interesting platform and it's gradually making it way into the real world. from video game to hightech companies like Meta, we see that many developers have seen the need to engage into the metaverse system. i believe it going to foster our economy and bring soft life to us all. added to this we are so much involved in the blockchain system today and with the metaverse, our blockchain system will experience an upgrade. nevertheless, the disadvantages still remain but i believe it can be fully optimized when the platform has been stable. we don't know when its gone to be full part of us yet but we hope it make it way soon enough. to conclude i will invite @tangwe-rene, @tenguhatanga, @chiabertrand and @wyzcekunited to join me partake in this contests.
