Hello Steemians!

The 2nd week of the Fourth Season of the Steemit Crypto Academy has now ended very successfully. It was a fairly busy week with 123 participants and most of them had performed well. I think almost everyone has learned something important from my lesson. So, let me expand on all the data this week as a summary.

During this time I have successfully explained the Heikin-Ashi Trading Strategy and I was able to cover almost six subtopics.

  • Definition of Heikin-Ashi Technique.

  • What is the Difference between the traditional candlestick chart and the Heikin-Ashi chart.

  • Explanation of the Heikin-Ashi Formula.

  • How to use Heikin-Ashi Candles in a chart.

  • Identification of trends and buying opportunities through Heikin-Ashi Candles

  • How to increase the accuracy of Heikin-Ashi by adding 55-EMA and 21-EMA to the chart.

According to the above-mentioned topics, 123 participants were able to submit their homework posts under the tag of #reddileep-s4week2. Here they had to explain them under the following questions.

  • Define Heikin-Ashi Technique in your own words.

  • Make your own research and differentiate the traditional candlestick chart and the Heikin-Ashi chart. (Screenshots required from both chart patterns)

  • Explain the Heikin-Ashi Formula. (In addition to simply stating the formula, you should provide a clear explanation about the calculation)

  • Graphically explain trends and buying opportunities through Heikin-Ashi Candles. (Screenshots required)

  • Is it possible to transact only with signals received using the Heikin-Ashi Technique? Explain the reasons for your answer.

  • By using a Demo account, perform both Buy and Sell orders using Heikin-Ashi+ 55 EMA+21 EMA

So, according to all participant's performance, I've graded them considering, Originality of their submissions, Post Presentation and Quality of the content. Below I've included summarized data of all the submissions.

  • Plagiarized - Those participants who included plagiarized contents
  • Below average - scores below 5.
  • Average - scores within 5 and 6.9.
  • Good - scores within 7 and 8.9.
  • Excellent - scores within 9 and 10.
  • Invalid Entries - Unqualified participants

Observations and Corrections.png

According to the above-mentioned data, we can see most of the participants have performed very well. However, I have graded all of them after analysing their content carefully. Furthermore, here I've considered below included details to evaluate their homework submissions

  • In the 1st question, all participants needed to explain the Heikin-Ashi Technique in their own words. Here most of the participants have explained it successfully and a few participants quoted directly from other sources.

  • In the 2nd question, all participants needed to do their own research and explain the difference between the traditional candlestick chart and the Heikin-Ashi chart. Here I expected them to explain it through their own charts as well. However, 70% of participants had explained it through their own charts.

  • In the 3rd question, all participants needed to explain the Heikin-Ashi Formula in detail. However, 65% of participants had explained it in detail and 10% of them had explained it through charts too. That is, they performed better than I expected.

  • In the 4th question, all participants needed to identify trends and buying opportunities through Heikin-Ashi Candles. So, 70% of participants were able to identify both trends and buying opportunities through the charts and 30% of participants explained only trends.

  • In the 5th question, I had asked a question regarding trading with the Heikin-Ashi technique. So, I expected a direct answer for this question and reasons for that answer. So here 30% of the participants could not answer directly and they seemed to oscillate between the two answers yes and no.

  • In the 6th question, I expected both Buy and Sell orders using Heikin-Ashi+ 55 EMA+21 EMA through a demo account. 80% of participants had explained it well. But, they couldn't perform both buy/sell orders through a demo account. Some of them had included order history of live orders such as Binance order histories. But, they couldn't show relevant details of that buy and sell orders. That's why I advised them to perform it through a demo account as I needed to confirm all the relevant details through their buy and sell orders. Like the bellow attached image.

  • Furthermore, I considered the quality of their presentation including spellings mistakes and markdown errors. Here 65% of participants were able to perform well.
