Centralized and decentralized system

Centralization is a process by which decision in an organization or institution is made by a single entity which is the head, and everyone in the organization follows the order. E.g banks While Decentralization is a process of shifting the the decisions made in an organization or institution from a single entity to everyone in the organization or institution, were everyone has the privilege or right to decide what to do and how to do it. Eg blockchain Technology.

Difference between centralization and decentralization system.

The difference is Crystal clear, in a centralization the right to make a decisions is bestowed on a high ranked personality or authority while in decentralization the right to make decisions is distributed among the members of a particular institution

Advantage of centralization

1. Orderliness in the distribution of information from the CEO or MD to the junior employee in an organization
2. The vision and mission statement of an organization is adhere to and all the employee work towards achieving the vision of the organization
   3.efficient decision making process because the junior employee are not involved in the decisions made in an organization, so that reduce the level of argument and conflict in making decision in an organization
3. it reduces hiring specialist in all the branches of an organization because the decisions are made in the head quarters and distributed down to it's branches, thus reducing the cost of hiring different specialist in all the branch
   5.improvement in the quality of work done because the decision makers which are the hierarchy set out a body to checkmate it's employee
   Disadvantage of centralization
4. Reduce the creativity of the employee because they can't make decisions on the job given to them to execute they only take orders to do it the way the CEO or MD envisioned it.
   2.the time taken for information to reach the junior staffs most times it takes longer than expected because the instructions will be coming from the heedquater there for their is delay in productivity
5. Leads to low self esteem of the junior employee
   4.the executives make poor decisions most times because no wan to checkmate them or say that the decisions are wrong
6. the lower level staffs they are not important in the organization.

Advantage of decentralization
1.anybody can make a decision that suits him or her
2.in a decentalized system supervision is effective
3 . Can't be hacked
4 . Reduce the delay and time it takes to distribute in formation
5.increase the creativity of the employee because they're are allowed to take better decisions most times
Disadvantage
1.lack of coordination because everyone is allowed to make their own decisions

1. When fund is transferred to a wrong person it can't be retrieved..eg crytpo currency
   3.cost of running a decentalized system is high
   4.there are too many specialist employed in each sections of a decentalized system this lead to high operation cost
2. everyone makes a decision that will benefit them without thinking about the organization at large.
