Season 5 Week 5 of Steemit Crypto Academy has ended successfully. This was an amazing week as Many Students have participated in the Beginner's Course. The lesson of this Week was about Trading using Wedge Pattern.

This Week, I have explained in detail about Wedge Pattern in Trading. In this lesson, I have covered some topics which are -

• Wedge Pattern in Trading
• Rising Wedge Pattern
• Falling Wedge Pattern
• How to Identify Wedge Pattern
• Trade Setup using Wedge Pattern

According to above topics, I have given them to present a Homework task related to above topics. The Homework Task is -

1. Explain Wedge Pattern in your own word.

2. Explain both types of Wedges and How to identify them in detail. (Screenshots required)

3. Do the breakout of these Wedge Patterns produce False Signals sometimes? If yes, then Explain how to filter out these False signals.

4. Show full trade setup using this pattern for both types of Wedges.( Entry Point, Take Profit, Stop Loss, Breakout)

5. Conclusion

At the end of the week, We had total of 129 entries. The task distribution is :

• 3 Invalid Entries
• 1 Plagiarised Content

From the above chart, 26% students scored marks within 9 and 10 and submitted excellent entries while 46% students scored marks within range of 7 and 8.9 while 20% Students scored average marks within range of 5 and 6.9.

6% students scored Below Average marks with in range of 0 and 5. There was 1 entry which was caught plagiarised. The overall performance is good.

Average Grade is 7.57 marks from 129 Entries.

• The performance from students this week was great. They have explained about Wedge Pattern in good manner. Most of the students answered it perfectly.

• In question 2, They have to explain about both types of wedes and identification of wedges. Most of the students explained about both types of Wedges and identification of Wedges very well. Some students felt problem in the chart of wedge pattern. I want to clear this that Rising Wedge Pattern has two trendlines sloping in upward direction whereas Falling Wedge has both trendlines sloping in downward direction. Many students are making mistakes in the direction of trendlines of wedges.

• In question 3, they have to tell about false signals or breakouts caused by wedge Pattern. Many students did thid perfectly but most of the students felt problem in this question. They all have to explain about false signals with screenshot and then, how to filter out these false signals. The effective way to filter out these false signals is the use of Indicators alongwith Wedge Pattern.

• In question 4, They have to provide trade Setups using both Wedge Pattern. Almost all students provided trade setups in correct manner. Students should provide neat and clear charts for better presentation.

• Furthermore, Around 72% students did good in their Homework tasks.
