Hi @wahyunahrul. Blockchain system makes itself felt in every aspect of our lives. I present to you my homework on audius, which can enable the music industry to be integrated into the blockchain system.
Q 1. What do you think about the presence of the Audius platform in the music industry?
People love music. Music has attracted people in all its genres. Just as the human soul loves everything that is beautiful, we also love music, which is the dance of notes in harmony.
Despite being very popular, music has been in a period of decline in recent years. This is not my opinion, it is general opinion.

With the discovery of the Internet, the music and film industry was hit hard by royalty-free and unlicensed copying. Singers, composers, music companies have been hurt by the free copies circulating on the Internet, and they have despaired of making new work.
Due to all these bad developments, in order to value art and artists, some selfless people fought against free copies circulating on the internet and encouraged people to buy original products. However, this was not enough and the music industry could not return to its old days.
As you know, blockchain technology is everywhere in our lives. In recent years, software developers have developed a method that will benefit from blockchain technology as a patch in every area of our lives that is getting worse, and they continue to do so.
In the blockchain system, information is written on blocks. Added blocks cannot be changed, corrupted, deleted or retrieved. Anyone who connects to the blockchain system can verify and see the information in the blocks.
Despite the deterioration and decline of the music industry that I mentioned above, integrating the music industry with blockchain is a very good idea. Thanks to this idea, music artists will be able to deliver their original products directly to music lovers without having to deal with any distributor company.
As you know, a music artist has to make deals with companies in order to announce his song. The song could become a hit if the company advertises enough. The blockchain system makes this intermediary company unnecessary. When the music artist makes his song, he uploads it to the blockchain system. The product uploaded to the blockchain system can now be changed, deleted, irrevocable and copyrighted. Anyone who connects to the system can see and verify who owns that product.
That's what Audius does. Audius is a decentralized platform. When the music artist uploads his product to the system, it is recorded that the product belongs to that artist and this information becomes copyrighted because it is in the blockchain system. The Audius platform has its own token, called AUDIO, and payments are made with this token.
In a nutshell, the Audius platform gives them exactly what the artist wanted: royalty, no middlemen, direct fan engagement.
Q 2). With the governance system used by Audius, do you think that system has made Audius a fair and fully decentralized platform? If not, please provide your personal suggestions for the system that Audius uses to make it more fair and decentralized.
The Audius platform is a decentralized platform. All participants can have a say on this platform. But this can happen by staking the platform's own token.
What I like most is that the Audius platform makes middlemen redundant. Middlemen can gain unfair advantage in some cases. We even hear such things as; There are companies that earn more than artists. Whoever produces a work should earn the most money. Audius etc. No one can come between the artist and the art lover thanks to decentralized platforms such as
I find this new order that Audius platform brings to Artists and art lovers by making use of the blockchain system, absolutely fair.
Q 3). Explain how to do 2 types of staking on Audius complete with illustrations. (Image Required)
On the Audius platform, users can benefit from staking in two different ways. The first staking method is called Stake as a Node Operator, and the second staking method is Staking as a Client/Artist. But first, let's take a step-by-step look at how to enter the Audius platform.
Step 1 : Connecting Metamask Wallet
After saying what the two types of staking are, we must have a metamask wallet before explaining them. I continue assuming that we have already installed our Metamask Wallet in the browser.
- First, I go to the website of the Audius platform, https://audius.org/.
- I click Explore the Dashboard.
- On the page that opens, I click on the Connect Metamask section in the upper right. If metamask is not installed in your browser, it says Metamask Misconfigured. So first you need to install metamask and make it ready.
- I click on the Open Metamask section that opens in the middle of this page.
- Now, the Metamask pop-up, which we all know well, opens on the right. I click Next.
- I click Connect.
- Now on the page that opens, I have linked my Metamask wallet to the Platform. You can see my balance and address at the top right.
Step 2 : Staking as a Client
When the Metamask wallet is connected to the Audius Platform, I first click on the Services section and click on one of the services opened below.
I click on Delegate from the page that opens below.
I choose the amount from the page that opens below and confirm it.
Another confirmation appears on this page. This approval is Metamask approval. I approve.
After approval, it shows the fee on the right. There is a fee of more than $33. Below you can see that the checkbox is not active. The checkbox is inactive because I don't have enough balance. If I had enough funds, I could confirm the transaction.
Step 3 : Staking as a Node/Service Operator
After the Metamask connection, I click on the Services section and this time I click on the Register New Service section.
I confirm on this page.
After giving metamask approval, the approval part does not appear on the metamask page because my balance is insufficient.

I will try to explain the steps for membership to the Audius platform as simple.
- Step 1 : Go to audius.co and click sign up free
- Step 2 : Write your e- mail adress and go
- Step 3 : At this point, we need to set a password that complies with the rules and we need to type the password twice.
- Step 4 : After choosing a username and display name, our account is ready to use. There is also a mobile app available. We can also download the mobile app and use it from the phone.

There are many features on the Audius platform. I would like to share some of these features.
The screenshot above is the profile screen. On this screen, you can customize your profile as you wish.
This screenshot is the favorites section. In this section, you can see the works you like and mark as favourites.
The Explore section works like the explore feature. You can see trending albums, artists. You can follow the upcoming albums, news about the artists you follow and more in this section.
With the Trending feature, you can see the trending albums and artists at the moment.
With the Feed section, you can follow all the developments you follow.
Q 6). Explain in detail how the mechanism of uploading music content on Audius.
There are two stages when uploading content to the Audius platform. The first is content mode and the second is discovery mode.
The content node stores the track and gives it a timestamp. After that, it gives a reference code to the content and this reference code is unique to the track.
This transaction is then recorded on the audius blockchain. After that, the scout node gets to work. The scout node hashes and indexes the transaction. After all these processes are completed successfully, the user receives a signal that the track has been uploaded to the system.

Unfortunately, I could not complete the task of uploading original parts to the Audius Platform. Because I do not own any original musical work. I'm sorry about this. Well, I'll tell you how it's done. On the profile page, we click on the upload part in the green box I showed in the screenshot above. And we follow the instructions in order. Also, the music work from the mobile version is not loaded. We need to use a web browser to upload.
Conclusion
The Audius platform introduces the music industry to blockchain technology. The music industry has had very bad days in recent years due to unauthorized copy products. Artists were not getting what they deserved. Also, artists had to pay more to distributors and advertising companies when they earned their own money.
The Audius Platform offers an opportunity to revive the music industry, which is declining due to all these problems. Thanks to this platform, music lovers and music artists meet without intermediaries.
