Steemit Crypto Academy| Homework summary – The Swing trading style

It’s been yet another great Crypto educational week on steemit. We have been looking at the Swing trading style. Before considering venturing into Crypto trading, it’s important to know the type of trader you are and which style best suits your personality.

The swing trading homework task has been more practical. I expected my students to demonstrate their understanding of Swing trading by using the knowledge on Technical analysis including predicting market direction using Candlesticks, multiple-time frame analysis. Some misinterpreted the homework task by simply defining the different aspects involved in Swing trading such as a trading plan, strategy, a Cryptocurrency pair, trade management (take profit, trailing stop, stop loss).

I was more interested in seeing what you were doing on the Trading charts and how you were explaining your work. Creativity was one of the key things, as part of the rating scores were allocated to the way a student presented his/her content.

Content quality

Some students were just too wordy in their explanations. That made them create irrelevant information that is away from what the homework task required of them. When attempting these homework tasks, it’s good to be straight to the point. Yes, it’s good to be detailed but let the details be relevant to the homework task.

It was also necessary for students to make some research on Swing trading, how it’s done and the different Swing trading strategies. That would put them in a much better position to avail the required content about the Swing trading style. It was also important for some novice Crypto trading students to acquire some knowledge on trading as an overall topic.

Through doing so, they would pick up the right vocabulary evolving around trading. Every topic has its own key terminologies and those are supposed to be used appropriately as it proves to your audience that you really understand what you are sharing.

Crypto markets are highly profitable but also very tough to deal with due to the high volatility. Swing traders approach these markets with enough tools, some people call it an “Arsenal.” Trading Crypto is some sort of a battle where you can either win or lose.

Therefore, you have to be well equipped with enough trading tools such as entry and exit strategy using trading chart patterns, trading indicators, multiple timeframe analysis coupled with a good trade management discipline.
