Someone said, "There are two things in life: be busy and do something sober. Idle, muddle through."

Muddle is a state of mind, but also a kind of cultivation.

In the eyes of Confucius, being muddle-headed is the "middle way"; in the eyes of Laozi, being muddle-headed is "inaction"; in the heart of Zhuangzi, being muddle-headed is "freedom".

In Zhuangzi's mind, to be muddle-headed is to be free. To understand in one's heart and be muddle-headed in one's face is a state of being.

I remember a story like this.

Two people fell into the water. One had excellent eyesight and the other was nearsighted.

The two fellows were struggling on the wide river and soon they were exhausted.

Suddenly, the one with good eyesight saw a small boat not far ahead of them, drifting towards them. The one with myopia, too, could see it dimly.

So the two of them plucked up their courage and swam hard towards the boat.

As they swam, the one with good eyesight stopped. For he could see that it was not a boat, but a dead and decaying piece of wood.

But the one with myopia did not know it was a log, and he swam on.

When he finally reached his destination and realised that it was a rotten log, he was not far from the shore.

The one with good eyesight lost his life in the water, while the one with myopia was given a new lease of life.

It is better not to know than to know, better not to be well informed than to be well informed, better not to be shrewd than to be shrewd.

This is what people often call "the hard to get confused".

Mr Ma Yinchu, a famous economist, said, "If there is no other reason, you will live for a hundred years". Herein lies the profound moral.

Two things in life: be busy, be sober; be idle, be muddle-headed

In fact, life is supposed to be confused, and happiness and joy are hidden in confusion.

Once you are sober, all the happiness and joy may disappear.

Zheng Banqiao has inscribed many famous plaques, the most popular of which are "It is difficult to be confused" and "To suffer loss is bliss".

There is a legend about the origins of these two plaques.

When Zheng Banqiao was the governor of Weichen County, his cousin sent him a letter. It turned out that his cousin and his neighbour had a dispute over the ownership of a section of the wall foundation of their ancestral house, and the dispute went to the Xinghua county court.

After reading the letter, Zheng Banqiao immediately wrote a poem back: "Thousands of miles to send a letter for a wall, let him a few feet and what is the harm? Ten thousand miles of the Great Wall still exists today, not see the year Qin Shi Huang." His open-mindedness and optimism were evident.

Afterwards, he was inspired to write the words "It is difficult to be confused" and "To suffer losses is bliss", and added a note under "It is difficult to be confused": "It is difficult to be wise and difficult to be confused. It is difficult to be wise and difficult to be confused, but it is even more difficult to move from being wise to being confused; let go of one thing, take a step back, and be at peace at the moment, not for the sake of later blessings."

Under the phrase "To suffer loss is bliss", the following note is added: "Fullness is the opportunity to lose, loss is the gradual gain, loss in oneself is the gain in the other, each gets half of the mood, and the mind is at peace with both, and the blessing of peace is there." These lines are not only Zheng Banqiao's explanation of the two characters, but also a summary of his own spiritual cultivation and philosophy in the world.

Life in the world, can eat losses is a realm of being a person, will eat losses is a wise way to deal with things.

A simple heart, a confused mind, less calculation, no worries about trivial matters, in order to live a comfortable and smooth life, comfortable and broad.

Wooden Heart said, "In the world of good people, there is always a kind of confusion."

Bai Yansong said, "The two basic points of life are to be muddle-headed and dashing."

A while ago, there was this online incident that was brushed up against the frequency.

The delivery boy was on his way to make a delivery when he accidentally had a car accident and collided with a grandfather on a motorbike. Although both of them were fine, the goods were almost completely destroyed. This meant that the day's efforts of two people who were running for their lives were all for naught.

But in the aftermath, the two men did something surprising.

The takeaway boy and moncler outlet store did not continue on their way, but raised a glass of wine on the spot to drink together, what is the big deal, all dried up this glass of wine to talk about, and then to bother.

"The first thing you need to do is to take one hurdle after another, and no one has ever fallen on their face. If there's one thing life has taught me, it's to enjoy failure."

Yes, what you have is a fluke, what you lose is life. When it's hardest to get through, it's better to be confused instead of counting the gains and losses.

It is a kind of temperament, a kind of cultivation, and a kind of realm.

Sometimes, we need to live a little more confused, live a little more comfortable, live a little more spontaneous, live with one eye open and one eye closed, which is not only to let yourself go but also to let others go. But look at those who are too calculating with others, most of them live an unhappy life.

Be a little bit muddle-headed with your friends, so that you don't have to pay to get; be a little bit muddle-headed with others, so that you can win trust; be a little bit muddle-headed with your lover, so that you can give him freedom and give yourself space; be a little bit muddle-headed with things, so that the boat will be straight.

If you are a little muddle-headed about your money and interests, you will not hurt your peace; if you are a little muddle-headed in your calculations, you will not be ashamed of your conscience; if you are a little muddle-headed in your competition for fame and fortune, you will not bother your brain; if you are a little muddle-headed in your gossip, you will not tire your ears.

If you are not a hundred years old, why should you worry about a thousand years?
