Everything is not for the saying. The Bible warns us to be swift to heat, but slow to speak. Those who fail to keep watch over their mouth hardly go far with God. Mary had great insight about the child she was divinely empowered to conceive and deliver. She treaded the path of wisdom by keeping sealed lips; because, everything with God is not for the talking. One way to manage divine information is show discretion.
If you fail to be discreet and you open your mouth wide, you will be encumbered with so much trouble to contend with. Every level of divine information goes with approval from the God Who gave it, as to which information to release. The same way Saul of Tarsus saw the bright light from heaven and he had to cry unto the Lord – “what wilt Thou have me do?”; with the privilege you have to bear divine information, you will need to allow your lips move at the impulse of His love and what He approves for you to say.
Those who claim to be custodians of divine revelation often time fall into stupendous error. In John 2:23-25 – Jesus; “when He was in Jerusalem at the Passover, in the feast day; many believed in His name when they saw the miracles which He did. But Jesus did not commit Himself unto them, because He knew all men, and needed not that any should testify of man: for He knew what was in man”.
God is very discreet with divine information and if you are privileged to be divinely informed about any particular matter and you seek to become too mouthy about it; thinking that God had committed all into your hands, you will be stalked because God does not commit Himself that way to men.
If you know it all, then you don’t need God for anything. God wants us to depend on Him for everything and trust Him every step of the way. Why should God give you information about men that will make them focus on you at the expense of the attention He demands from them?
There are divine secrets and you have to be careful with every bit He releases to you; because, everything is not for the saying. Oftentimes these secrets are things which like Mary, you cannot fully comprehend and if you step out of divine borders broadcasting them, you will be seen to be on your own and besides, how far can you go on your own without God?
