🗣️THE KEY TO LEARNING💫
📜 TEXT: DEUTERONOMY 6:4-15📜
🔑📖 KEY VERSE: "And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up" (DEUTERONOMY 6:7).
A father and son went fishing one day. After a couple of hours out in the boat, the boy suddenly became curious about the world around him. He asked his father, "How does this boat float?" His father replied, "Don't rightly know, son." The boy returning to his contemplation, then turned back to his father, "How do fish breathe underwater?" Once again, his father replied, "Don't rightly know, son." A little later, the boy asked his father, "Why is the sky blue?" He got the same answer. Worried he was going to annoy his father, he said, "Dad, do you mind my asking you all these questions?" "Of course not son, if you don't ask questions you'll never learn anything!"
The Lord, through Moses their leader, warned Israel against the tendency to forget their God when they got to the Promised Land. They were cautioned against complacency and carelessness that could set in when life improved in comfortable houses, fields and vineyards as promised by God.
They were not only to retain the knowledge and the love of God in their hearts, but they were also to make signage of them throughout the environment where they lived. They were to teach their children diligently about them. They were to keep the lessons Moses taught them all through their lives and refuse to allow the culture and religion of their heathen neighbours influence them.
Our forefathers managed to keep the traditions of elders alive by telling stories to their children and grandchildren of the good old days. We must imbibe that practice in Christianity today. We must set aside time to teach our children and answer their questions both at home, in school and church. It is good to pass on every knowledge that is needed to the children when they are young and tender. The Bible makes it clear that they will not depart from it as they grow older (Proverbs 22:6).
✍🏽 THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: God is honoured when His word is preserved from generation to generation.

MEDITATION
CHILD TRAINING CURRICULUM
A child's behaviour is formed by what he sees and hears coupled with environmental factors. This become more complex in a new world of social media. What should we start exposing our children to as foundational? Of course, it is moral education.
1. THE AFFECTION
Children should be brought up in such a way that they will have love and affections for the things of God and not hate them, v5. This will take wisdom and emotional intelligence.
2. THEIR ATTITUDE
It is the matter of the heart that moulds attitude. Their training should not just appeal to mental knowledge alone, it should be imparted in such a cherished way that their hearts and the attitude are positively affected, v6.
3. THE ATMOSPHERE
It is not every atmosphere that is conducive to learning. The command outlines places that learning must take place in vv7,8. Can you identify those places? Doesn't that mean everywhere?
NOTE
The Israelites were farmers and shepherds who worked in the fields. Do you notice that field atmosphere was omitted? Why? They were not expected to use the excuse of training children in the word of God and abandon their secular work. They should work and teach their children to work when they were expected to be working. There is time for everything.
4. THE ADD-UPS
They were expected to exploit the power of pictures or beautiful pictorial displays, including videos, to drive home the moral education to the children, vv8,9. Children learn more with pictures.
5. THE ADMONITIONS
Man has the tendency to forget God or compromise easily when there is pleasure and prosperity than under poverty. This is true at all times. So we are exhorted to be careful and vigilant.
6. ANGER
What are the things that must be avoided in order not to court the anger of God?, vv14,15.
QUESTIONS
a. How can the 6 points above be practically applied to the moral education of the children in the family and the church?
b. What is the importance of DILIGENCE mentioned in the text?
c. What are the modern gods of this modern age that are now institutionalised which believers should avoid in order to avoid the anger of God?
PRAYER POINTS
- Ask for wisdom and diligence in child training🙏
- Pray that our children will love the Lord and the things of God they are being exposed to🙏
- Ask God that our children will not be deceived by the world and the modern gods of this generation🙏
- Ask God to help parents and churches to rise to the challenge of diligent children training🙏
HYMN
I'VE ANCHORED IN JESUS
- Upon life's boundless ocean where mighty billows roll,
I've fixed my hope in Jesus, blest anchor of my soul;
When trials fierce assail me as storms are gath'ring o'er,
I rest upon His mercy and trust Him more.
Refrain:
I've anchored in Jesus, The storms of life I'll brave,
I've anchored in Jesus, I fear no wind or wave,
I've anchored in Jesus for he hath pow'r to save,
I've anchored in the Rock of Ages.
He keeps my soul from evil and gives me blessed peace,
His voice hath stilled the waters and bid their tumult cease;
My Pilot and Deliv'rer, to Him I all confide,
For always when I need Him, He's at my side. RefrainHe is my Friend and Saviour, in him my anchor's cast.
He drives away my sorrows and shields me from the blast;
By faith I'm looking upward beyond life's troubled sea,
There I behold a haven prepared for me.
Refrain

Hi @armstrongdiho
We've noticed that you delegated some of your SP to steem-sri.lanka and we decided to reach out to you. If you're looking for passive income then we would like to offer much higher weekly dividents comparing to what you receive right now.
While steem-sri.lanka pays you for your current delegation around 7 steem per week, we could offer for the same delegation to @project.hope as much as 9-10 steem weekly.
Quite a difference, isn't it?
If you find it interesting, then consider trying us out with some small delegation first (500SP - 1000 SP).
You can also find out more details about our curation program here.
Cheers :)

It is hard to address your accusations. We don't flood memo messages, we don't attack smaller communities.
And there is nothing wrong in offering better deal than you do.
Regards
