For all those who have obtained the gift of righteousness through the finished work of Jesus Christ on Calvary, the plan of the Almighty God for our lives is that we live by His favor. The reality of this was shown in the life of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the early apostle also experienced the same. However, some things open the door to experiencing the Lord's favor.
Before you can get the goodness and abundance you desire from the Lord, you must first learn to give to God what is very important to you: your best and your all. This is what brings about the difference in results experienced by a fellow living by the Lord's favor and a fellow living by hard work; one is very easier to get than the other.
Are you not tired of results that can only be gotten through labor? Why exert everything you have for many years to get a certain blessing, when you can pay a small price via sowing and still obtain huge results in a shorter time, without much stress? One good way of saving time, as admonished in Ephesians 5: 16, is to leave methods that are not working for better, faster, and less stressful ways of doing things. You aren't redeeming the time when increases only through hard work. This means that a lot of things will be left do until you have the power to work for them.
