Matthew 14: 28-33
28 Then Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it is you, command me to come to you on the waters.
29 And he said, Come. And when Peter got out of the boat, he walked on the waters to go to Jesus.
30 But when he saw the strong wind, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried out, saying: Lord, save me!
31 Immediately Jesus, extending his hand, took hold of him and said: "You of little faith! Why did you hesitate?
32 And when they got into the boat, the wind died down.
33 Then those who were in the boat came and worshiped him, saying: Truly you are the Son of God.

Pedro; the most temperamental disciple of the twelve, had a particular character, he always said what he thought, he was impulsive.

Despite his shortcomings, this man teaches us great lessons in faith.

For example, he was the only one who dared to walk on water, of course he sank but had the courage to try.

The root of everything was faith, just as it happens when you launch into an action in which you trust more in the promises of the Lord than in what you see around you. Of course there is a possibility that you will sink, but be encouraged because even if you fail, Jesus will raise you up as he did with Peter

Peter had a level of faith that allowed him to imitate Jesus walking on water. At first he took a few steps but then faced his battle of faith and began to sink.

As we advance on this path of the supernatural, in what we do not see, the battles will not wait and we must fight them, trusting that he has already paid for our victory.

Going forward on the water can make us doubt like Peter, whose faith weakened when he was already walking. Even with such an intimate relationship with Jesus we could fall into the trap and blink for a moment, we could believe that bank loans work more than our Father's provision or that the words of discouragement are more powerful than the promises we have received from God.
