Matthew 2: 1-2
When Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of King Herod, magicians came from the east to Jerusalem,
2 saying, Where is the king of the Jews, who was born? Because we have seen his star in the east, and we come to adore him.

When Jesus was born, some magicians were guided by a star to where he was, these men knew that a Great King would be born because it was thus written by the prophet: And you, Bethlehem, from the land of Judah,
You are not the least among the princes of Judah;
Because a guider will come out of you,
Who will feed my people Israel.
These men, who were students of astrology, were ready for when that event occurred, apart from the fact that they had been sent by Herod who thought of harming Jesus by finding him.
These magicians being pagan men; they teach us how we should present ourselves as the Great King,
Matthew 2: 10-11 And when they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.
11 And when they entered the house, they saw the boy with his mother Mary, and falling down, they adored him; And opening their treasures, they offered him presents: gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
We as children of God have to present ourselves to him with the best of our lives, with a clean and pure heart, a heart surrendered before him. present ourselves with songs of praise and worship that is our best incense, our fragrant scent, anointing your feet with the best perfume in front of everyone regardless of what others think of us.
He is our King, our Great I Am, he deserves all the glory, all the honor and all the praise.
