The word teaches us that both the flesh and the spirit produce their fruits, not the believers, who depend on us and how we feed that new man who is growing in us. In time it will bear fruit.

If you are the one who, even knowing what pleases God, prefers to feed your flesh with the things of this world, This in due time will give you its fruits and the practitioners of the works of the flesh are not heirs of the kingdom of God.

Among other works we have: Adultery, Fornication, Strife, Drunkenness and all those that please the flesh.

But the Lord commands his children to crucify the flesh with its passions and that we seek the fruits of the Spirit as much as we can since there is no law against it.

The Spirit gives life to the flesh, and it alone is of no use. They oppose each other so that we do not do what we want. Through knowledge of the word, differentiating the good from the bad.
