This is to encourage someone that might be passing through a challenging situation.
Many times we worry too much and what we don't know is that worrying can't bring a single solution to that which we are passing through.
“Be still and know (recognize, understand) that I am God.
I will be exalted among the nations! I will be exalted in the earth.” Psalm 40:10

What does God meant in the Bible by saying that, "Be still and Know that I am God?"
“Be still' is a powerful word to us but many times we tend not to understand what the word of God is saying to us. It means to stop worrying, striving, stop fighting, and to relax. It means to “put your/our hands down” and surrender all to God for him to take charge of our situation.
Sometimes we put our hands up [trying to sort out things with our human strength] to defend ourselves from all that life brings our way forgetting the fact that the one that' able to save us is at the door knocking and saying that, be still and let me glorify myself.
I finished serving as a youth corp member in my country this year February and I don't have a job. Some of my mates that we finished together have gotten a job and they are getting paid well but here I am, finding means to pay my bills.
At a point in time, I thought over this and I was getting worried because I've been sending out my CV and application letter but nothing is coming forth. How am I going to pay my bills? I asked myself and His word came unto me from my spirit man: Be still and know that I am God!
Just like what happened when our Lord Jesus and His disciples were travelling on the sea and there was a storm, Jesus was woken up and He calmed the storm. This is an assurance of His word to us that He's more than able to settle us and make every crooked way become straight.
My mind is now at peace because I know the one that holds my future!
Friends, let your mind be at peace. Jesus the prince of peace is saying to you that; Be still and Know that I am God!
Peace I leave with you; My [perfect] peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. [Let My perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge. John 14:27.
God is telling you to stop worrying, striving, stop fighting, and to relax. Surrender all to Him and let Him handle the situation for you!
