When the problems seem to have no solution, when everything around us is against us, when it seems that the silence of God in front of what we are living is deafening, it is there when praising God and worshiping him takes on great importance.
And it is easy to praise God in the midst of blessing, it is easy to adore him in the middle of the answers we needed, but it is not so much in the middle of the test, in the middle of the storm or in the midst of prolonged silence.
When we praise and adore God in the midst of the most difficult moments of our lives, it is when that praise and adoration really takes on more value and not only that, when we praise and worship God in the midst of the silence of the trial is when we can best respond watch.
Pablo and Silas faced and lived this situation for themselves. The Bible narrates the following:
"After having beaten them a lot, they were thrown into jail, ordering the jailer to keep them safe. Who received this command, put them in the dungeon deeper, and secured their feet in the stocks. But at midnight, praying Paul and Silas, they sang hymns to God; and the prisoners heard them. Then suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened, and the chains of all were released. "
Acts 16: 23-26
