Today, I want to talk about Thanksgiving and it importants to mankind.

MEANING OF THANKSGIVING

Thanksgiving is the act of giving thanks; grateful acknowledgement of benefits or favor's especially to God. Or an expression of thanks to God.

BENEFITS OF THANKSGIVING TO MANKIND

God sees you as a grateful person.
When you give thanks to God for His good works and His protection over you, He sees you as a grateful person.
It gives you access to God's presence.
You please God.
When someone thank you for the help you rendered to him it pleases the person so as God.
It brings balance to your spiritual life expeciall your prayer life.
It ignites joy in you and creates an atmosphere for the supernatural
It gives you supernatural strength to face and overcome the challenges in life
God is magnified.
Magnified in this context means glorified. Thanksgiving enables you to magnified or glorify the Lord.
It keeps you humble.
When you give thanks to God you are giving him credit. You are saying it is not by your power, might or wisdom, you are calling attention to him not to yourself.
It promotes good health.
Research has shown that grateful people tend to enjoy better health than ungrateful people.
